Since The Game Against The Broncos Is So Lopsided, Should The Jags Just Forfeit?

#21

So it has come to this.

A once up and coming franchise one game away from Superbowl is now the laughing stock of pro football according to Vegas and anyone who pays attention.

The Jags should forfeit this game along with the rest of the games this season.

This 0-16 season can only result in them being moved to another unfortunate city.

So, each year there are 16-19 chances for our young players to improve themselves by getting practice in an actual NFL game, and because some whining fans don't like losing we should throw away the chance for them to do that?

Really?

Prepare like normal.  Go out and play football.  Healthy doses of MJD, Blackmon, and CS3 (more skinny post please!!!).

A forfeit would be much more embarrassing than even say a 70-3 loss IMO. I've never even heard of a team doing that and to me it would be a disgusting display.

That said i agree with the poster who said to send 11 at peyton all game. maybe not every play but once in every 4-5 defensive plays just send the entire team at him without warning.

Why quit? If Tony Romo can have a huge day against that D then we should be able to get 20 points. So what if the Broncos are playing better regular season football than anyone ever has before? Peyton will still gag on playoff pressure and end up watching the Super Bowl with the rest of us.

I have been a jaguar fan from day one . I now live in OR and trust me when I say this. This team is an emberasment to the NFL but more importantly an emberasment to the City of Jacksonville. The city never thought it got enough respect back in the days of Mark and thunder and lightning but it has gone beyond laughing stock status now. The team the uniforms and everything about this franchise is a complete and total joke. Don't worry about the team being moved though there is not any self respecting city in this country that would put in a serious bid for this circus.

Aaahh, more wonderful insight from a long time Jag fan. We are on a roll today. New account request approvals must have spiked last night. You live in OR? I prefer Either to OR by far.

We can petition the NFL to keep a running clock in this game.

I say we just take a knee, kill 3 minutes, then punt.

Then on defense we just tee off on Manning regardless of where the play is directed or when the whistle blows.  Blitz 11 players on every play.

Does everyone in Oregon have spelling issues?  I also like how you center the "." between the end of once sentence and the beginning of the next sentence.  Pretty cool.

I'm thinking about moving to North Oregon or as we call it NOR.  We usually go the "neither" route.

I'm thinking you were never a Jaguar fan and came to throw a cheap punch.  That huge post count of 2 shows how interested you were in this message board before this season started.  Now you come to pile on.

We still wouldn't get to Peyton.  I bet their O-line could probably block our blitz.  We may get 1 or 2 sacks when Peyton self-sacks.  Credit those to "Windmill" Branch.

One of these years.............

Funny how if I were to post a topic saying that the Jaguars have a shot at winning this game than everybody would message me telling me about how I'm an idiot and that the Jags will lose. I post a topic poll saying that the Jags might get blown out so bad that they should just forfeit, and now everybody is saying that the Jags might have a chance Sunday.

I love you guys. <3 Love
