I don't see the issue. Things are flying along. They're working on the back and front of the NEZ scoreboard at the same time. It'll get done....easy.

It’s 9:50 at night and there’s work going on for sure. The stadium lights are on at the north end of the stadium. At first it didn’t seem any activity was happening but there are sparks coming from behind the panels they’ve already put up so some sort of welding is going on. I can also see some men walking in areas of the board just above of where the panels are already up.

 

Also, the corner north boards are going through some testing it seems but not the south ones.

I have a theory that I admit could be so very wrong but here goes. If you look at the corner boards and the ribbon boards that have already started testing, they’re all grey now. I wonder if the big board in the SEZ is slowly cranking up to get to that same stage of testing.

 

BTW, the big board in the NEZ is 1/3^rd complete less than 5 days from its first panels being installed.

On a brighter note (  ^_^ ) leaving downtown last night you could see the light from the south big board testing from nearly a mile away.

I saw the ribbon board above the Bud Zone lit up on Wednesday.  I do think they may have an issue they are trying to fix though because there was about a 20' section that was not lit up.  Later there was scaffolding up in that area.

O-zone contributor says he is a pilot and could see the board from 200 miles away at 40,000 feet when it was lit up Friday night.

They've gotten the number of dead spots down to just a few.  Last week there was a good portion of the middle that was blacked out as they were doing the white screen burn in.

Hey John, pretty cool moment Friday night. I'm a pilot and was flying from New York to Orlando. As Jacksonville was coming into view on the horizon, I saw a big bright light in the middle of the city. We were about 200 miles away at 40,000 feet. As we drew closer to Jacksonville we figured out what the light was: the south end zone video board was lit up. I guess they were testing it. Two hundred miles away at 40,000 feet ... John, these video boards are going to be awesome!!! Pretty Cool!! Go Jags. #Cantwaitfortheseason
