Quote: i tend to be the one who invites people for things. It kinda sucks to be honest because I moved to a new place and met a lot of nice people, but nobody really gets together unless I am organizing things. It'd be nice to just have someone like "hey wanna grab a beer?" or something.

It might be because you're new.   People have habits.   They call the same old people to do the same old things.   I'd say, keep initiating, and they'll come around.

Oh, God.   Now I've read the rest of the thread.   Forget it.   I have no idea.

She went out again tonight. I'm just biding my time before I worry about it. If she goes out 2-3 more times this week and then so fourth and so on then I'll start to get more worried.

I figured I'd pop the question "Hey I got a fantastic recommendation from a co-worker about this restaurant, why don't you invite your friend over then I'll invite a friend as well".

They can get out of that by saying it seems like you're trying to set the friends up. I'd just ask her to invite the friend over for dinner if y'all do that kind of thing, or invite her out to eat without inviting another person along. You'll get an idea of what's going on by how your wife reacts and if they keep coming up with excuses of why you can't meet her.

I'm a chick, and even I find it odd to spend so much time with a new friend.

Or, he could call her while she's out and say that he would like to join them wherever they're at.  Too much?  I'm not good at these matter-of-the-heart things.

My wife is my best friend heck she's the only person who wants to hang out with my four kids lol

The whole open relationship thing is a game changer is that something you guys just talk about or is having relations outside the marriage really an acceptable act for both of you? Has anyone actually gone that far?
