Teddy Countdown

Quote:concerned that our group might catch Teddy in a less than stellar performance in person tomorrow night despite there being legit reasons if it does happen, i.e. no Parker, and short week.

well, to be fair, not just any scouts/ GM.....our scouts/ GM. Yes, it may be a new regime, (the one that just gave away a good OLT for scrap) but its still the Jaguars, and I will assume the worst until they give me a reason not to.

They've built up that kind of historical track record that spans regimes. (so they've earned that rep, can't blame fans for assuming the worst when it comes to decision making from Jags brass)

You know all those guys got fired, right?

Tampa AND Jacksonville being there scouting TB scares me. Reminds me of Alan and Charlie Harper waiting out a dinner check to see who gets it.

I disagree. He says "but how long could it be before the team is able to put a proper group of weapons and linemen around him?". " JB and CS3 are perfect weapons with a good QB and we can pick up lineman in the draft and free agency. Sure you aren't going to develop a pro-bowl caliber line in one off season, but this fan base NEEDS something to be excited about come next year, and trading out of that spot for more picks would be devastating.

#1. When did Gus Bradley ever say that?

#2. Since when do we not have weapons?

#3. The team is a lot closer to being competitive than he seems to think

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Agree.

The separation between TB and the rest of the QB's is so substantial, someone would have to offer up the farm for it to make sense to move out of that first spot.

Just imagine what we could land for Teddy though. I've never seen this many GM's completely in love with a prospect so early on in the process.
LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

I dont care if we could get 3 all pros at different positions, Id take Bridgewater over 3 all pros and a dalton level QB any day.

I would generally agree. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't listen to calls though.

Just saying man. Could you really say no to let's say four first rounders and a 2nd?

I saw Sam Bradford last week. Knowing they could have had RG3 but traded down for a 'treasure trove' and yet were still keep us in the game... I'll take Teddy.
