The comment was talking about with the pads being on if "a young lineman knows his assignments but can't move Red Bryant or Ziggy Hood, falls back in the eyes of the coaches."


Bradley wants the players to compete. Competing means giving players the same type of opportunities/ challenges.


People have made the assumption that guys like Bryant are just going to be given the job over a vet like Alualu. Both will be given chances. If Bryant gets the starting job it means he beat out Alualu on the field.

Probably just trying a particular formation out. We aren't benching a $22 million free agent.

I think they plan to platoon the DEs to keep up coming in waves. Probably either may start "officially" depending on who they play but either way they both see plenty of action.
