You can look at their schedule.


Additionally, you can watch the practices and they're not that hard honestly. You'd be lucky to find more than 20% of the guys moving at one particular time. They get 4-5 reps (max) and they get subbed out.


I really don't see what the gruesome part of training camp is nowadays.

It is easier than the old days but still... nothing is easy in 90 degree heat.


And you will still be sore. Muscles get tight and it leads to pulls and strains.


There is still contact if not full blown hitting. Why do you think Bryant and Beatles got into a fight? There is contact happening even with no pads.

perhaps.. Maybe some research on other hot and humid cities that have similar conditions and see if they are experiencing similar injuries. I'm betting we aren't the only team but tons of injuries but since we follow them closely it just looks like our team has more.

PLAY OF THE DAY


The play of the day might be better described as entire drill. Rookie wide receiver Marqise Lee turned in a memorable performance during one-on-one, receiver/defensive back drills, catching numerous passes and getting open consistently. He caught at least one deep pass down the sideline for a touchdown and was open for several deep sideline routes for long gains. Jaguars Radio Analyst Jeff Lageman called it one of the best one-on-one receiving drills he ever has seen.

*Wide receiver Mike Brown also was impressive in one-on-one receiving drills, continuing to take advantage of opportunities with multiple injuries at the receiver position. …

*Rookie linebacker Telvin Smith had a pass breakup that was nearly an interception in a 7-on-7 drill. …

Holding the first camp in Wisconsin was a bad idea. You were away from your fan base and it was hotter there than it was here. No need to move it.

That's simple enough with 2 other teams in Florida going thru training camp in similar conditions.
