Quote:4.43 at the combine I think he has an overall nice skill set if he can hang on to the ball but he was fast for a QB. As a RB or WR his speed isn't really too crazy. Shifty with good burst but not enough to make up for the lack of ball control.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Am i the only one thats ready for the DRob project to be over with and ready to move on.
Quote:Am i the only one thats ready for the DRob project to be over with and ready to move on. You're pretty much on your own. Not sure what the rush is. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I'm not quite there, but you aren't alone. I feel as if time will prove you to be right. I'm thinking with my hopes rather than what I see. The guy has trouble catching and holding onto the ball.
Quote:I thought Lee looked great in practice yesterday. Very impressive...agree, looks like he is going to be a good one. Quote:I'd like to point out, Its interesting that Sullivan calls out Lee for his work monday citing it as "ordinary" then Lee has one of his best days the following day. I saw, on Facebook, that an analyst claimed Lee had one of the best days he's ever observed. I'm guessing it was Lageman, but I couldn't find the article anywhere. Anyone know anything about this?
Am I missing something here? He hasn't even played in his 2nd year of football and people are ready to cut DRob?

When hes labeled as an Offensive Weapon and the fans talk him up to this amazing player but all i see from him is speed and butter hands. Ill give him this year to make his case but if Storm beats him out for #2 back then ill happily say goodbye to the project.

Anyone know anything about this? Sounds like something Lageman might say.... Akin Ayodele is playing like the best pass rusher I've ever seen...
Lageman never says anything bad about a player and always defends the team in whatever situation they're in. While I respect that, I can't take anything he says seriously anymore.

Was he "quoted" as saying he could see Russia from his tree stand as well? Funny how misquotes and lines taken out of context can permanently turn into something they never were.
"You do your own thing in your own time. You should be proud."

But he could have spread it around a bit more. That said - he is prone to hyperbole when praising various aspects of the team at times. It does cut in to his credibility with me too - to a degree. It is his job to get fans excited to some extent, so..... I get it. His analysis of defensive play is sometimes quite insightful in the moments when he's not being homerish. Quote:And yet it cannot be proven. And better even- he's just parroting something someone else said. Squawk! Quote:Am i the only one thats ready for the DRob project to be over with and ready to move on.Do you remember Cecil Shorts rookie year? 2 catches Makes DROB look like a HOF player Just like the rest of the USA now. Cannot wait for something to turn good. Must have it now! Quote:Am I missing something here? He hasn't even played in his 2nd year of football and people are ready to cut DRob?Nice Avatar! |
