Lets get serious.  Blackmon has a very very slim chance of every returning to the NFL.  His latest arrest proves how serious he is taking his "recovery."

 

Even if he does come back your talking 2 years out of football.  I doubt he would play even close to the potential that we all saw.  The guy is a druggie plain and simple.  Throwing away millions of dollars to drink and smoke is just plain stupid.

If Blackmon can get his himself sorted out, he has the talent to be a star receiver in the league. He proved last season what impact he can make on this team during his short comeback. Now if he can get himself in a good place and focused on football, he could be an excellent receiver for this team [or another team if he's cut].

That's a hefty looking receiving core potentially. But I'm not convinced Blackmon will play for us again, and it's going to be tough to persuade the league to give him another chance if he continues to make mistakes.

Junkstin Drunkmon didn't catch the second half because he had to run to the liquor store for more scotch. He stopped at Wendy's for a bite to eat where he was made a freshly grilled pretzel burger by TMD. By the time he managed to detach the mad cook from his leg and get home, Stanzi was already in the game so he chugged the bottle of Johnny Walker in one gulp and passed out.
