Really? A guy with an alleged 130 IQ posts to someone who he must think reads his MB schtick and would answer him.

I'm guessing when the IQ test was taken and results came in, you were looking at the corner of the screen that said 1:30 ( pm )

Yes. Also was excited about job offerings at UPS after some guys were fired. In fact it went something like " cool.job openings" when the news came out. But unfortunately for him, they got their jobs back and it was back to the hunt at Frito Lay.

I am sure a lot of highly intelligent people in New Jersey troll a Jacksonville Jaguars message board all day. Just going around saying thr most asinine thing knowing it will get responses.

It is an odd existence he has.

Now get yourself better and focused and back in Jacksonville and commence having fun and winning with a QB that will undoubtably make your job easier!!!
The only thing he has to look forward to is more blue lights in his rear views.  His days as an NFL player are going to come to a sad end because of self-inflicted problems.

No kidding.

Can we please get back on topic?  People constantly harassing someone, no matter what his opinion is, is equally as annoying.  Instead of reading a few posts of nonsense, I get stuck reading pages of it.

I hope Justin can come back.  As foolish and he's been, from all accounts he's a nice guy and a good teammate, and indisputably a good player.  I find it hard to root against good people, even if they have addiction issues that hurt my team.

1. Stop hating on TMD.

2. See (1).

3. If Justin comes back, sweet. If not, sweet. I care about him, not his football playing ability, first.

Quote:To think that he won't be back in the NFL at some point?...

He's eventually going to run out of money at this pace so, the only one gullible enough to think he WON'T be back in the NFL is you, cletus.

By the time he finally gets his act together and manages to get himself reinstated, any skill set he may have possessed coming into the league will have long since left him.  Any hope that he's going to make a quick return to the league, and play with the same level he did prior to the suspensions is folly at this point considering he's still screwing up, and there doesn't appear to be a reinstatement in the near future.

I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt here, and hoped that he would take this time to get his life back on track.  Instead he just gets himself busted again for the same old crap.

Quote:Considering that I have an IQ above 130, the above makes zero sense.

This just goes to show you those interweb IQ tests are useless.

Quote:Guys with high IQs don't brag about their IQs on the internet.

You are embarrassing.

They don't brag about their IQs, and they don't go around telling everyone how smart they are, and they don't constantly pat themselves on the back for their brilliance because nobody else sees it.

I know a lot of smart people who are humbling with their intellect.  Not one has ever revealed their IQ.  They don't need to.

As do I and I'm not rooting against him, quite the opposite. That doesn't mean I have false hope or any expectations of him being able to step on the field again. The guy will.have been off the field for a minimum of two years by the time he'd be reinstated and that's IF he has no further incidents and IF he's even reinstated. I hope he battles his demons and wins those battles. He does seem like a good guy and I hope the best for him.

I don't think the majority here are rooting against him.  It's just becoming clear that the odds of him getting back on the field and shaking his demons are becoming less and less likely.

One thing working in Justin's favor is this whole Ray Rice thing and mainstreaming of marijuana use.  I can easily foresee in the near future where marijuana infractions are significantly less penalized than they are currently.  It is kind of crazy to think that substance addiction merits a lifetime ban while other players are doing things significantly worse by moral and legal standards and see less punishment.

I've given up on Blackmon. For most circumstances, everyone deserves a second chance. I've lost track of how many chances Blackmon has had

I think by current standards, yes, much less likely - probably less than 10%.

I think the odds will go up with reform on substance violations in the near future possibly looming.

He has to stay out of trouble, and his demons go beyond pot.  If he's still drinking, that's another hurdle he's going to have to clear, and it's concerning that he may not be ready to handle that one right now.

What's happening with other players with moral and legal issues is irrelevant.  The league rules on substance abuse couldn't be any more clear than they are.

He's a drunk.   That's not going to change even if the league reforms the rules. His latest infraction may involve pot, but it's his issues with alcohol that started him down the path and that may very well end his career.

True, but he still may be allowed back onto the field.
