Quote:@JessBlaylock: Chad Henne will go first half vs Bears. Bortles will play most of second half, possibly all of it. #Jaguars

Why isn't Stanzi or Morris getting any PT?

Does this guarantee only 2 QB will be kept on the active roster?

All hilarious. I really personally love the dug up quotes. Again, stated as undisputable fact that Carroll would suck. Just awesome.

Quote:@HaysCarlyon: Marqise Lee caught a bunch of passes today. I think he'll be showcased Thursday night. #Jaguars

@HaysCarlyon: Ramses Barden made two impressive catches in the end zone during team work (third team vs. third team). #Jaguars

@HaysCarlyon: Marcedes Lewis made an impressive, physical catch on tight coverage from Joe Young.

1. I expect Lee to bounce back and play well Thursday.

2. Barden will likely be gone as soon as the WR corps gets some of their players back

3. Marcedes made a "catch" and this is newsworthy?? lol

1.. Yes Lee should bounce back, 2... Barden might stick and I believe I heard somewhere they are only going to keep two Quarterbacks.

right, because back then you and everyone else knew that Seattle was going to be a SB team under him.

In reality, more people shared the POV that I posted (about Seattle's future with Carroll at the helm) than those that didn't. By a lot, too.

But yes, continue to imply that that quote is just so terrible and that you saw it all along that Carroll was headed for success.

You're unbelievable.

Hopefully.

I wouldn't mind seeing Morris make it as a QB3, but he'll likely be safe on the PS, which would open up a roster spot for another roster bubble type player to stick, perhaps another WR intially, if the injuries are still lingering.

Probably. I seem him as an extreme longshot.  Robinson and Hurns both have the ability to "climb the ladder."  I don't think his height is enough to keep him around.

A. Robinson has a 39 inch vertical and is not short...  so we'll have "that" guy.

He's not that good anyway, height or no height. Thats why he's been unable to stick anywhere else.

I'd much rather ultimately keep Doss, Hurns, or Brown over him.

I actually love Pete Carroll and was mad he wasn't coaching the jaguars.

Regardless, the difference between us is that you state it as fact and call people stupid if they disagree.

I simply state my opinion and if I get into an argument I use facts, stats, etc..

Agreed.  Hurns certainly has me interested thus far and Brown could be an asset just by knowing the routes at all three spots/ having experience in the system.

I'll bet you cant find 3 separate instances of my posts within the past 2 years of me directly calling out another poster as stupid for disagreeing with my opinions. The only time I even insult another poster directly on here is if they fire the first insult.

You lie too much.

You love Carroll huh?....lol.....of course you do, now. Most everyone thought he had no chance of succeeding in the NFL when Seattle hired him....but Achilles knew better. Whatever. maybe you did. But odds are you're just saying that and had a different opinion back then.

I'll admit, I wasn't expecting too much from Hurns at first, upon signing him as a UDFA. I figured he'd face a tough road to make the 53....now, I think I would be more surprised to see him NOT make the 53.

Yeah, I kind of already tallied him as a Jag for the whole season when I was thinking about how our team will look this season. Good find.

pretty much what we've been used to....i.e. Tackles = good. Interior  OL = bad.

I'll openly admit that I also thought mullarkey was a good option when he was first hired. I will also say that after the first season I was ready for him to be shown the door.

Henne and Bortles splitting halves makes little sense. I'd like to know what the thought process for that one is. Perhaps the coaches have already made up their opinions on Stanzi/Morris. I'd put Bortles in for a quarter against the ones and then kick the tires on Stanzi/Morris. We know what Henne is and capable of. Let Preseason game 3 be used to get Henne's rust off.

And Im glad they are going to put Lee's [BLEEP] to the fire on thursday. No excuses for Lee. The balls coming. Better catch it.

I think that Henne starting the whole first half may actually be more of a positive nod towards Bortles. Perhaps the coaching staff is re-evaluating Henne and their decision to not make this an open competition. They'll take an extended look at him this week.
