Shep Smith proved it when he undermined the McCain/ Palin ticket in October, 2008.  Smith blasted Joe the Plumber at a time the Ohio citizen was the only thing sustaining the ultra politically correct McCain campaign.    Much like with O' Reilly,  I look forward to the day that Smith is no long on FOX News Channel or any media outlet.

For the record,  Bill  " Fair and Balanced"  O' Reilly considers himself as an Independent,  not a Republican or Conservative. O' Reilly is a registered voter in the Independence Party,  which is a party that exists in the state of New York.   I'm looking forward to the day O'Reilly isn't on the airwaves.

 

On the other hand,  Sean Hannity is registered in the Conservative Party,  another party in the State of New York.    Hannity,  not O' Reilly,  is close to being on the opposite side of the spectrum from the 3 MSNBC individuals you mentioned.

 

For the record, my point was that none five of those I mentioned aren't what is traditionally known as news anchors. Their particular point of view is irrelevant to that point, they just happen to appear on networks associated with the extreme edges of the current political spectrum.

 Regarding your first paragraph,   I thought it was important to mention the difference between Sean Hannity and Bill O' Reilly.   Most people believe that practically everyone on Fox News Channel is a Conservative.   That's far from reality.  

 

 There are many people that I disagree with that I want on the airwaves.  There are many I other I want off the airwaves   Wanting someone off the airwaves and trying to force the person off the airwaves are in the vast majority of cases are totally different.   I've never contacted Fox News Channel to express my opinion about O'Reilly and Shep Smith.   As a consumer though,   I have a choice to watch their programs or do something else.    Thankfully,  there are alternative media sources.

They were both equally qualified.  The only qualifications to be U.S. President are:


-Must be a natural born citizen of the United States (some will argue otherwise for Obama, but he did have his birth certificate)

-Must be 35 years of age or older

-Must never have been impeached by the Senate

-Must have been a citizen for 14 years

-Must not have participated in a rebellion against the United States.

 

Palin was a mistake.  Especially given Obama's choice for Veep.  McCain could have made several choices (more ready to step in if McCain were to die in office) that would make Biden look terrible.  Instead he went with someone with little to no recognition, someone who clearly couldn't handle the media, and someone who was too far north on the political compass

 With all of the fake scandals that were created to destroy Sarah Palin,   I'm not going to criticize her for stepping down.   Guaranteed,  she's more patriotic to Alaska and America than the Community Organizer is.
