Anyone Else Starting To Think Lee Might Bust?

#81

Quote:lol, Janis looks more explosive with the Packers so far than Lee has with us.

He looked pretty great tonight getting totally blanked from the stat sheet.

12 other receivers on the pack caught at least 1 ball....

Lee caught three passes. Just saying.

One guy is a starter. Another guy is still in a battle for a roster spot. Seems the coaches disagree about Hurns outplaying Lee.

Hurns might be a starter by the end of the year if he keeps this up.

Had a bad night tonight.

Up until now Janis's looked very good. Lee has looked very pedestrian his entire time here so far.Theres been very little  explosiveness to his game.

Why should it take that long?

The way he's been playing, he's earned the starting gig, IMO.

He should certainly be getting a lot of snaps

Lets get him in there with the good qb first.

Can you link me to his stats cause I can't believe that you are really hyping a 1 catch for 34 yard WR...

He's (reportedly) made plays like that all throughout Packers camp up until this point. Explosive big plays. Thats why he's going to make their roster.

Hey, I just got a letter from charles Sharon. He wanted to let me know he was making explosive big plays all throughout camp.

Has Lee made any really "explosive" plays at all so far this preseason? This was supposed to be the "steal" of the draft, per some of the pundits.

I think we're seeing why this guy fell out of the 1st round despite initially not being expected to.

Its the preseason. Most guys don't do much their first year as wide receivers. He's mostly played with henne. I'll hold judgment on him until at least halfway through the season.

Preliminary....I should say. Then after that we have to wait until his second season to really have a good idea.

Look, if you aren't calling for the guy to be cut on draft weekend then you're starting off behind the curve.

Quote:I'm not gonna say he's a bust because it's obviously way too early...but I did say right after the draft that I would've been much happier with a duo of Robinson and Latimer or Adams. I stand by that statement even more strongly now.

Tellme since I have no clue. How are lattimore.and adams doing this preseason.

this is comical.  I once was an avid reader of this board but I got into a disagreement with Dakota and was banned for 6 months .  First time back and I thought since my Jags have some juice I would try this again and see something different.  Not much has changed.  So Dakota may or may not think Lee might be a bust after missing most of camp.  I don't blame you Dakota for throwing that out there but what I find laughable is you have some of the people believing it.  haha  good job.

Justin Blackmon was invisible until Henne became the QB. Not worried.

Why does replies to this type of thread have to automatically be what they were? Oh thats right because this fan base is largely ultra sensitive regarding its players.

Theres nothing wrong with the question Dakota brought in the OP.

Lee has not been the same player since his knee injury.

Truthfully I agree there is nothing wrong with the thread but I get the feeling he didn't make this thread to really discuss the issue, it seemed like he made this thread just to bash people's replies.

He hasn't impressed me at all. He looks slow.

But enough about Dakota, how do you feel about Lee?

He's a bit "edgy" out there but I think he might be a bit slower in development compared to Robinson and Hurns. Hurns is playing at such a high level and has become a go to for both QB's. Lee just needs to calm down and find his groove. I don't see a bust. He has made some plays this preseason. Way too early.

No pain, no gain.
