The only leap that any team "in ascension that's expected to make a leap" really considers trading a 3rd or 4th rd pick for Chad Henne would be making is a leap of faith.

 

The fans otoh, would be taking a different kind of leap.

 

If any team really wanted to trade a decent pick for Henne, the Jags would have to do it.

I know you're joking but In all honesty, I don't even think an RG3 deal would be worth it to trade away Bortles. It would seriously have to be in the neighborhood of 5 first rounders and a few second and third rounders for me to consider it. That's crazy to think because Bortles hasn't even started a game, but the way this franchise has had trouble finding a QB...

You didn't quote me, but I was the one that floated the 3rd or 4th.   If you read and comprehended my post you'd understand that I think that's what it would take for us to deal him, not what the Rams would pay for him.  But carry on with the manufactured outrage if it suits you.

Also a team that, with this possible last straw, will likely be looking to draft a new franchise QB in round 1 next year, and who will need a solid mentor QB to see them through not only this year but the transition to their next QB, just like the Jaguars did before Bortles showed everyone what he is capable of.
