Any chance Jerry Sullivan could reclamate Stephen Hill?.....

Quote:He killed it at the combine, but you should when you aren't in pads, and indoors. I knew when I was watching him at the combine that some team would over draft him. He went from a 4th, or 5th round solid to a 2nd round gamble. Do you mind if I use this in other discussions?
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Quote:I made a mistake. The original message should be pass on Hill (NOT Doss). Well, we'll agree to disagree. I like this corps: Robinson Lee Hurns Hill Taylor Doss (returner + WR) Brown? (PS)? traded for conditional pick? (or keep Brown/ put Taylor on PS) Shorts (maybe also dealt) The above 6 is a nice combo of speed/ size/ and playmaking Quote:Do you mind if I use this in other discussions? Have at it ... I was going to use "a very developerable player", but I didn't want to get too fancy. ![]()
Quote:Well, we'll agree to disagree. Neither Brown or Taylor are PS eligible. Quote:Look at how well Mark Sanchez is playing now that he's outta that mess.Yes, the draft bomb that was Mark Sanchez has been totally vindicated and proven himself to be an outstanding passer on the basis of three preseason games. Quote:So this thread is really more about getting rid of Ace than picking up Hill.As soon as TMD got involved, was there really any doubt as to where this would end up? Quote:I guess you're just mad since I'm making a good case here for Hill.No you're not. You're making a good case for those who point and laugh at the fact that, once again, the 6'4" 4.4 TMD prototype takes precedence above everything else--especially actual production. Quote:Hill sucks.I love you. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:But of all the WR we got, only one (Robinson) has his size/ skill set. Hurns is 6'3" Quote:Hill sucks. "Reclamate" is not a word. Well, not in English, anyway. Thread should / on that point alone.
If something can corrupt you, you're corrupted already.

Quote: As soon as I got involved?? Its my thread! Quote:Hurns is 6'3" Quote:6'1 at the combine ^^^ one of the few things about the combine thats worth a damn. Getting the true actual heights/ weights as opposed to the often inflated college bio numbers.
I wouldnt mind getting him off the wire. But not too sure about a draft pick even a late one, I like to keep our picks. But of course if he worked out id be fine if it was a 7th rounder.
But like others have been saying who would be the odd man out? Im not big on Brown or Doss but still not sure if Hill would be a real upgrade at this point, but the upside is there.
Quote:According to both NFL.com and ESPN he is 6'3" so....Kinda' funny how NFL.com contradicts themselves on the matter. http://www.nfl.com/player/allenhurns/2550353/profile http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/alle...id=2543817 Rotoworld reported a combine measurement of 6' 1,1/4" for what it's worth. Quote:Sanders, easily. Doss handling punts makes that happen. I agree with picking up Hill but not if we have to drop Ace Sanders, who showed he can at least play the position correctly. Not to mention Ace Sanders showed some good potential in the punt return game last year. If I had to drop someone, it'd be Mike Brown. He's got bad hands, can't significantly contribute on special teams, and he's got nothing going for him physically versus Stephen Hill.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. Quote:Kinda' funny how NFL.com contradicts themselves on the matter. He looks tall to me. He is also listed 6-3 on the jaguars.com roster.
Quote:Well, we'll agree to disagree. I can't fathom why someone would believe Kerry Taylor and Mike Brown are worth keeping over Ace Sanders.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. Quote:I can't fathom why someone would believe Kerry Taylor and Mike Brown are worth keeping over Ace Sanders.Well, when you rant for three pages on draft day about Sanders being a wasted pick and a bust who will never make it through an NFL season... I'd rather try and pick up a TE with the physical tools and see what happens, because after Marcedes there's a whole lot of uncertainty.
We're fine at WR (assuming the rookies play decent when the season starts).
Quote:I can't fathom why someone would believe Kerry Taylor and Mike Brown are worth keeping over Ace Sanders. It's just his act. He likely doesn't really believe anything he says. Just says what will get the most response. He needs the attention. Textbook trolling. Quote:Yes, the draft bomb that was Mark Sanchez has been totally vindicated and proven himself to be an outstanding passer on the basis of three preseason games. To hell with production! TMD only cares about prototypical or beyond prototypical physical attributes. You can have hands of stone, not be able to get open, run only one route.... Unless you're a QB. If you're a QB its all production and no upside apparently. Also TMD, not gonna return to the luck thread?
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
