Any chance Jerry Sullivan could reclamate Stephen Hill?.....

Sanders for Hill?
Honestly, I don't think Sanders will ever develop into anything more than depth. So anything involving him is on the table once we get a replacement for that specific spot. Doss is a possibility but I want to see in a real game before we just hand over Sanders for an experiment. Truthfully, I hope im wrong about sanders. Quote:Sanders for Hill? Ummm where were you last night?

Quote:He had 2 targets so he probably didn't play all that many snaps. http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=new-yorkjets&id=42292&city=newyork&src=desktop&rand=ref~%7B%22ref%22%3A%22http%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2F9O6k40vCcz%22%7D Hill actually played most of the first half. There has to be someone to blame other than Hill. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:Well, then he probably wasn't targeted because the QB wasn't looking his way. There has to be someone to blame other than Hill. Not really. Hill has completely sucked in New York. The OP is suggesting that a change of scenery plus working with one of the best WR coaches in the game could possibly net a great return on investment. Much crazier things have happened.
I'm starting to wonder how many of you would have been completely against the Jimmy Smith signing. He was an injury prone receiver that had already been cut by two teams (Dallas and Philly). Sometimes talent trumps everything, especially when you have an elite coach at the position of interest.
That said, odds are that Hill likely isn't fixable, but the huge potential return on investment is worth the small risk of a conditional late round pick.

If Hill is cut, sits the entire season and the team signs him next February I doubt anybody will care. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Quote:So would you have been irate if the Jaguars gave up a conditional 7th round pick for Jimmy Smith? He was a street free agent. He cost nothing.
Quote:He was a street free agent. He cost nothing. I realize that. Would you agree his value turned out to be well worth a conditional late round pick? Sometimes that extremely small risk could be well worth the reward.

Even still, if he was so great, why wouldn't he have played more snaps? And if he's so great, why wasn't the QB looking his way? Did you really just say that Stephen Hill has been on the field the whole time and hasn't battled injuries? Please leave this discussion.

He was inactive five times in 2012 and four in 2013. Jimmy played seven games in his first season and zero in his second. Slight disparity there, no?
