Showed good burst, decent vision, some home run ability, and most importantly was able to hold onto the ball. Granted, the 4th string line didn't help him much. Was definitely disappointed with Todman though.I thought he fell flat this pre-season. Then again, I wasn't even expecting Denard to make the roster with the way he played last year. <_< And I was expecting big things from Todman. So maybe my expectations are impacting my opinions of their play in a disproportionate manner.

Todman will get what the blocking gets him, but that's it. RBs like him in this league are a dime a dozen. He's not the kind of RB that makes his own yards like FT, Jones-Drew and Gerhart, and quite frankly the Jaguars would instantly improve on his spot by signing Benjarvus Green-Ellis.
Denard hasn't exactly looked exceptional either, but he has shown the speed necessary to get to the corner, and the Jaguars are going to need some of that for a change-of-pace. I'm actually more excited for the potential that Storm brings to the table as he looks like a naturally gifted RB out there but just hasn't had much opportunity as of yet on the field.

He needs to change his style. He's built like a pounder bu tries to run the ball like a scatback.

You have to trust your instincts and your instincts have to be good. The physical tools are there it's just whether or not he can overcome the mental reaction time.

What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

I'd pass on Green-Ellis, but Detroit just released Leshoure. I'd be intrigued for him to take Todman's spot.

I think Green-Ellis is bordering on "washed up" at this stage. I have zero interest. Not much of an upgrade (if any) over Todman who already knows the system well.

Obviously, he was released for a reason...He's on the downside of his career and doesn't fit the model the front office is committed to establishing

I hope we search the wavier wire for a RB and just dump Todman Quote:<div></div> Would def love to pick up Leshoure

Quote: Meh, not me. Leshoure has been very unimpressive so far in his career. Not sure he's an upgrade from Todman. |
