Ode to "Let's talk about"

Quote:10 foot? That sounds a bit much. But I'd be extremely happy with a 4 foot one. Where did you get it and how is the charging ing versus the one it came with? Slower faster...?

Quote:It's a Sharper Image brand cord...I don't remember where I got it, I've had it for a while. I like having a long cord...let's you move around more while you're charging. My house is 90 years old...they weren't big on a lot of extra outlets back then! Lol

I haven't noticed any difference in charging speed at all.

I bought a few RND brand 6 foot cords on Amazon and love them. No difference in charging speed whatsoever.

And Bunnie, my house is 96 years old... I feel your pain. One outlet per room, and the sketchiest electrical wiring known to man!

I have a NEXT brand charger; Neighbor EXtension Tapoff.  It's about 120 feet long and is capable of recharging my phone as well as powering all my household appliances.  I save thousands!

I just finished several hours of yard work and I'm all sweaty and dirty. So what do I do? Pull up a lawn chair in front of the garage, crack open a Miller High Life and stew in my funk while ribs are smoking and the brew goes straight to my head. 'murica.

In hindsight, I could have planned better.

Our first house was built in 1924. We ended up having to have the house comepletely rewired because we wanted to do something crazy like adding outlets in the kitchen we were remodeling. The 2 plugs in the one outlet that was in there left us with a dilemma if we were running the toaster, coffee pot, and microwave oven. The refrigerator used the only other outlet in the kitchen. The contractor wouldn't do the remodel unless we had the entire system re-done because it was a fire hazard. We opted to take his advice.

FYI. Monoprice has great deals on extended length charging cables for phones.

So, I was in the bathroom doing bathroom things and I saw a box of wet wipes but the box was empty. We don't buy them religiously but fairly often. I was wishing we had some at the time then a thought popped in my head.

Charmin ( or whatever you like) should hire "the most interesting man in the world" for a commercial.

Hopefully the weather cooperates because I'll be riding back from Cedar Key in time to catch kickoff.

Yeah, way across the other side of the state of Florida.  A whopping few hours from Jacksonville.
