Stealthy Defensive moves, and strong running will be needed in this game against the Eagles (since I doubt Chad Henne can win it with his arm even though the Eagles probably have the worst pass defense in the NFL right now)!

The sad part is we will probably have lost to many games by the time BB is given the start to go 9-7. Even with a young offensive line Blake has shown the ability to roll out and by time to complete passes, that is something Henne can't do effectively. I could see a long shot at being 9-7 if Blake started the season, but barring an injury there is little hope to finish with that many wins. I do hope your right snowie, we will get a good idea where our defense is Sunday. If we can hold a team like Philly to ten points you may have a shot at being right.

9-7 Seems like the best this years team can do. I have the Jags winning 6-8 games. It gives us a possiblity to squek into the playoffs. Big plays are needed to win tough games. I think we may lose a couple games on behave of a young teams mistakes.

I'm anticipating 6-10, and would be happy with 7-9, thrilled with 8-8. There are still questions in the starting lineup, a lot of reliance on young, untested players and not much depth to pick up the slack if guys start going down. We're still a year away from a real playoff push.

I been saying all offseason long our jags will go 9-7 this year no matter who the qb is. Don't get me wrong qb is imporent,and you need a good one,but our defense this year will keep us in games,and even win a couple for us. Book us in at 9-7 this. I have no doubt.

 

If the coach makes the right decision (sitting Henne for BB when the time is right...now!) and if he directs Fisch to be more and remain aggressive then maybe.  Otherwise, I have to say there is no way!

lol, yes it's a team sport but the coach is paid millions to win and you win by making the right moves.  I like Gus but I think he has some tough decisions to make.
