Who do you nominate for Donkey of the Game?

#21

Gus Bradley.  He's more of a rah rah, motivator coach and doesn't know anything about x's and o's and making adjustments.

Has he even had the talent for you to make that statement?

I think there's plenty of mutton to go around.

I'd give some to Marcedes Lewis, Fische, the Center and Guards, and Henne...  Oh and whoever blew that coverage on Maclain in the 4th...

Am I missing anyone?

The idiots who let Sproles run for a easy 40 something  yard td run.  Scobee for the missed fg. Wimpy Joeckle who got pushed back easily that led to the block fg.

The knee jerk wannabe coaches already wanting to put in a rookie QB with rookie Wrs to help develop him, along with an OLine that will give him the time he will need as a rook.

Hi, you must be new here. We love people who make idiotic comments like this one. They keep the place interesting. The coaching staff bears some blame for this loss, sure, they all do. Suggesting that someone made it to the level of being an NFL head coach without understanding X's and O's or how to make adjustments is going to get you openly mocked, kind of like I'm doing here. Mock mock. Mock mock mock. Mock mock mock mock mock.

Yup gotta wait until we can get Calvin and Demariyus before it's safe to put Blake in.

Meanwhile, he can develop in practice throwing to those same rookie receivers.

I actually blame Gus more for the missed FG. Scobee was recovering from a quad injury and apparently hadn't practiced as much as usual, if at all (I seem to remember the commentators saying he didn't practice this week, but I'm not positive, so don't quote me on that). Bradley decided to take a 5 yard penalty in the hopes of drawing the Eagles off-sides. Sure that's a fine strategy usually, but when your kicker is recovering from a quad injury and hasn't practiced as much as he should have, those extra 5 yards (especially when they turn a 45 yard FG into a 50 yarder) are a killer. That was a decision that had "backfire" written all over it.

Henne and Gus. Henne is what he was last year, a 2nd string QB. Gus shoulda made adjustments and why did he have Henne throw the ball 43 times!?!?!

I think once the game got away from Fisch, he had no choice but to start having Henne sling it...

Also, I think the blame you're putting on Gus should really be on Fisch...

That was Alualu's gap. Dont mention that though, you'll be preaching my agenda.

The ground.. for hitting Cyp's head.  Once he went down, Chip started to pick on Evans.  Once Prosinski entered the lineup..  the game was over.  The Defense was doing their job.  The offense was 2/14 on third down.  14% against an average at best defense is unacceptable.

Only a chump boos the home team!

Yes Jedd is the one who calls the offense plays so the 43 passes his on him. But starting Henne and the second half strategy is on Gus. Don't get me wrong I'm all about Gus I'm his biggest fam but we coulda had this game.

Henne and Gus Bradley.

Henne for being Henne

Gus Bradley for knowing Henne is Henne and starting Henne anyways, while keeping his fragile little prodigy child on the bench in fear of the big bad Eagles defense from hurting his feelings.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Quote:Does the coaching staff have any accountability in your book?  They get paid to do a job, right?

Preparation, game planning, talent evaluation...these are responsibilities of the coaching staff.  You can't blame players for everything.
According to your post, the players get blamed for nothing.
