Colts @ Broncos: Can the Indy defense hold Denver to less than 40 points?

Manning looked off in the second half. Is it January?

Oh man!

I'm feeling great about this team. Better than I thought. We had a ton of opportunities to take this game away from them and didn't seize it. Just need to fix a couple things. One or two plays away and the Colts win this game. After the 1st half (really only the 2nd quarter) the Colts dominated outside of a few plays here and there that we let get away from us. We're going to be dang good. Saw this on twitter from an NFL network guy and it rings so true "The Colts made a million mistakes and still only lost by 7 AT Denver." You guys can write whatever you want, but it won't change the facts. Colts will be really good this year.

Also, love that this team never quits. Many teams would have packed it in, in Denver, vs. Manning.

Can't wait for the Eagles!

Whatever makes you sleep. If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying. Curious to see how Mathis looks when he comes back and has to depend on his natural ability to get to the QB.

Also, want to come in here and laugh at those who thought Reggie wasn't going to come back and look good.

HA! That was funny.

Your homerism always good for a laugh. You looked terrible until Denver decided to sit on their lead and stop playing.

Whatever makes you feel good about yourself! I know you guys had a rough day too, so I'll be nice.

I'm actually just as optimistic as you are, but about the Jags. We'll beat you in week 3.

Why would that make me feel good? I was cheering for Reggie and what should have been garbage yards.

You looked possibly the worst in the division today and you are meant to be the best...

You only see the last quarter? Also how sad after your really impressive loss that you have to come here and brag about not getting smashed. You must really worry about us jag fans laughing at your team finally...

Uh, no I watched the whole game. Did you only see the 2nd quarter?

And I'm coming here to respond to a COLTS @ BRONCOS GAME THREAD. Everyone here thought we were going to get steam rolled and not even put up a fight. And many people (including you) said Reggie was done playing the game at a high level. Hilarious.

Let's see if Reggie gets through a season first... He's currently behind an undrafted jag rookie. So I guess we got a star!

Jags and colts fans have no bragging rights we are both deserving of last place

I don't understand why people are ripping Indy.....in the game I saw last night the Colts came within a few yards of tying that game on the road vs last years SB participant.

THe only issue I have with Luck is that Denver DB was having a great night and was covering Wayne solid on that play so Luck probably should have been looking elsewhere there. He forced that last incompletion.

They also benefitted from some drops and Manning overthrowing an open receiver on third down.

I think Denver will have some issues running the ball too. Montee Ball isn't making anybody miss.

I don't think it is so much ripping Indy as it is helping Luck off of the pedestal people put him on before he proved anything. Not saying the guy isn't good, but could the media possibly overestimated him?

Indy showed some real fortitude closing the gap the way they did. I also think they left it all out on the table, which will provide plenty of game film for the rest of the division to gameplan for.
