Would also not be surprised if all AFC South teams start 0-1.

Ditto.

I'm predicting the Colts will repeat as AFC South Champions in 2014.   Yet,  it won't be reflective of my Week # 1 predictions.

Week # 1 using the 100% formula:

Houston 38%   .    Predicting them to win the game against a Redskins team that I think will struggle early in the season.

Tennessee 36 %   Predicting an upset win.  Kansas City will be w/o WR Dwayne Bowe and has major Offensive Line questions.

Jacksonville 18 %

Indianapolis 8 %

So Houston are the only team who are actually favored to win. Tennessee are slight underdogs. Jags and Colts would be big upsets.

Thanks, ObjectiveJag.

My predictions were better for week # 1 with the AFC South games than some of the other games.

The week # 2 AFC South games predictions look very challenging on paper.    I'm waiting to see the injury reports before making my decisions.

+1 on that.

I honestly thought that perhaps Houston might be the only ones to come out with a win.

Thanks, jagibelieve!

While it's not going to be a high profile game,   I'm guessing the opinions on the Houston at Oakland game this coming week will be very divided.

I'm probably going to pick Oakland and also end up picking Tennessee over Dallas.

But at this time,  I still have no idea which teams to select in the other 2 AFC South games.   The early injury info in the Jaguars-Redskins and Eagles-Colts games adds plenty of uncertainty to the mix.

It's too early for me to make any picks, but as of right now I would probably lean more this way.

Houston - W  -  This could change due to injury issues, but I just don't think that Oakland's offense is up to the challenge of Houston's defense.

Tennessee - W  -  I think Dallas is in a huge downward spiral.

Jaguars - W  -  Waiting to see the injury report this week.  Gut feeling tells me that the Jaguars can pull this one off.

Indianapolis - L  -  This should be an interesting game, but right now I don't think that the Colt's defense can hold off the Eagle's offense, especially the run game.

It will be interesting to see how the AFCS looks after weeks 4 and 8.  At that point I'm not so sure that the Colts will be considered the "champions apparent" of the division.

Had 3 of 4 correct last week (I had Titans losing) This week I have:

Raiders over Texans

Redskins over Jaguars

Cowboys over Titans - This is a tough one, could easily see Titans winning this.

Colts over Eagles

Why? They will have played 2 good teams and are an average side themselves...

So what do you say if the Colts beat the Eagles?

Nice homer pick. The clots will have to put up 42 to beat Philly and I just don't see how that is going to happen.

That mini comeback when Manning was sleep walking has you guys a little delusional.

I think the Colts have to beat the Eagles. I do think the Eagles are gonna give them a challenge though.

Oh, it'll be for sure a good challenge. It's not going to be easy, but I think Colts win this one.

What do you want me to say? Jags almost turned them over in philly, so they are beatable. I just don't think you guys can stop their offense.
