Marcus Mariota Vs Teddy Bridgewater

I'll have to watch some more of Mariota. I know he has tons of measurables and production, I am just scared of drafting off potential after Gabbert.

Something now scares me about Bridgewater.  Perhaps its the fact that he has totally sucked in the 2 games I watched him this season (Kentucky & Rutgers).  The dude gets about 20 seconds to throw the ball and rarely runs the ball (like Luck) to keep the LBs honest.

Hawaiin's claim he is better than Tommy Freaking Chang.

I've often read that laughter is the best way to start your morning and I can say after literally laughing out loud at your joke of a post that my morning is in fact better now. So thanks for posting it.

and please.....that play garnered Mariota many more mouthbreathers on his bandwagon...

You clearly do not follow college football. You act like Mariota just somehow bursted on to the scene. He's been in the conversation since the offseason.

You may want to sit down for this. There are some of us that actually follow/watch college football on a regular basis.

Both Bridgewater and Mariota will be considered two of the top college QB prospects in the last decade.

He says that about every prospect he doesn't know much about. All of them have recently burst onto the scene even though mariota was the number 2 or 3 qb for most in the offseason.

If you watch it so much more than I do, which you may.....I'm surprised that you can be so gung ho over a QB prospect with so many questionmarks - well, questionmarks to actually performing well at the QUARTERBACK position in the pro's that is. Its clear that most of you just gush over his athleticism and plays like the aforementioned running plays. Teddy has the stuff that makes good QB in the NFL. I'll take that over your "Gabbert on steroids".

It's really hilarious because he does it every year. And then tries to act like he is some sort of astute observer of college football. Remember what happened when he heard about Jadaveon Clowney for the first time earlier this year??

Not sure why Mariota would even be considered a better prospect than RGIII.

What a great scouting report. Let me forward this to Rob Rang and see if he can get you a job with CBS.

Better than anything you give. You're too blind to see that theres only a few teams in this league that a guy like Mariota could go to to have a reasonable chance to succeed as a pro (and we're not one of them, currently, btw) . You are incapable of projecting players to the pro's. You're like the mouthbreather type I spoke of yesterday that in addition to falling in love with the athleticism of a player like Mariota, will be double-gung ho once he blows up the combine. Me like running Koerterbakc that makes big college running playz, drool....

Fellas, I think we are glossing over the real story here. How do their names compare.

Teddy Bridgewater - Teddy, like Teddy Roosevelt. Strong, natural leader. Great in conflict. Smart. Bridgewater. Stable, well built. Strong.

Marcus Mariota - Marcus. Sounds like a teenager. Maybe a skateboarder or a kid working at Subway. Mariota. Sounds like a poorly built migrant boat or a poor Caribbean island with a modest cruise port. Not impressive.

Winner: Teddy

No bias coming out of Kentucky - right?  Seriously, I'm totally hoping he's the next coming of Manning but I'm just not seeing it.  I'm also an advid proponent of filling our team up with Miami born talent, where football is King but I'm getting less and less convinced as the season goes on.

I don't care, don't take me seriously. I sure as hell don't take you Mariota mouthbreathers seriously. Because you apparently have no idea what makes a good PRO QB.
