Jaguars OC Jedd Fisch pins one of the 10 sacks on QB Chad Henne

Jaguars OC Jedd Fisch says don't blame QB Chad Henne for things that aren't his fault

So Jedd blames himself for the rest? For shoddy play calling?

Quote:Lageman did too. Even so, throwing the ball away was an option in a lot of cases

You do know that the "expert" Alfie does his analysis using game footage broadcast on TV right?

Lageman probably said what he did either Sunday following the game or Monday on the radio based on... you guessed it, game footage broadcast on TV.

Quote:Im just saying there are plenty of people who are giving unbiased opinions on it. Coaches do not give unbiased opinions to the public. Coaches lie. Thats a fact.

Whether or not Henne sacked himself doesnt even matter to me. What matters to me is that every snap he takes is a waste of time. I would just like to see mediocre football again.

Exactly right -- opinions/educated guesses. The most qualified of the bunch, Lageman, even made that disclaimer while offering his take.

And you think the coaches are throwing other players under the bus to save face for Henne? I don't know about that, doesn't really pass the sniff test.

Quote:I have it, but you're still left guessing as to what each player is actually supposed to be doing. I think it's like $40.

If it's game rewind, it's comped for season ticket holders. I ain't watching that game again tho.

Actually yes. They cut one guy, but its always easier to blame 'everybody'.

Its also easier to blame 'the offensive line' because you dont have to single out one player. They are clearly deflecting all blame from Henne in the public to diffuse controversy... which is fine. But i dont buy that. Henne is part of the problem, not a solution. Give him a perfect pocket and we will still get no where.

So Bradfield wasn't terrible? And he was cut to take pressure of Henne?

You're getting way out there bro. I can't wade that deep.

Has that ever been proven?

Quote:Bradley said the team never considered starting rookie Blake Bortles[Image: icon-article-link.gif] ahead of Henne Sunday.

“We really haven’t talked about that,” Bradley said. “We just put all of our focus on Chad. We said, ‘Hey, we feel good. He’s the starter.’ We just feel good about what he has done.”
Lol!!! Ok Henne got pics on Gus that's the only way I can take this serious...

No, no, no. Haven't you heard the news? Gus clearly just wants to lose. Why wouldn't he?

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Quote:I have a feeling if Henne does not play well the first few possessions he will be booed unmercifully. Maybe I'm wrong and the fans will be more patient....but I doubt it.

Booing is a fan's right if they feel that's what they want to do.

I am just hoping that the fans don't start cheering if Henne get hurt, that would be awful.

I never agreed with that part of being a fan.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Not what im saying. My point is that coaches will always deflect blame off a specific/individual player. In this case they did actually cut a guy... obviously they put alot of the blame on him.

"Chad brings stability to a young group"...... THAT'S STABILITY? I think the staff has an issue distinguishing between perception and reality.
