***OFFICIAL*** Week 3 Injury Report

#41

Quote:Good points.  Perhaps the Jags woeful O-line has a chance to tighten up this week.

I am hoping we can take advantage of the Colts missing Jones because he is a DT and Gerhart loves to run between the guards.

I changed Pasztor's status to probable because he is the backup and backups don't always play.

Prepare for the stretch run on 1st down. Followed by a terrible play action fail, and then a classic dump pass to the outside for a gain of 2...maybe. Then it's Bryans time to shine.

I am fully expecting a better game for the offensive line. Now that is not saying much for the Jaguars, but any improvement is a good thing.

Not really. Injuries are part of football. Gerhart's injury was caused by a tackle that looked very similar to a horsecollar, which is no laughing matter. The team is so young most players don't have a long history of injuries, save for Cecil Shorts.

NYC, we already knew Clay Harbor is injured. How is that an update?

It wasn't.  It was just related humor. O' Halloran made a joke on twitter and I shared it here.  (ideally you want three TEs on that depth chart. Not only one)

Here's another tweet that implies Shorts will play Sunday:

</div>

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-size:16px;">Cecil Shorts said I should start him in fantasy on Sunday.

If so, someone is having one hell of a laugh at my expense.  I'd be OK with it.

Quote:Cecil Shorts (hamstring) is probable for Week 3 against the Colts.
Allen Hurns (ankle) is also listed as probable. Both players practiced in full Friday. With Marqise Lee (hamstring) out, look for Shorts and Hurns to open as the starters. Allen Robinson will be serve as the No. 3 receiver. With Chad Henne still under center, it's hard to trust any of these guys as more than WR4/5 plays. For Shorts' sake, hopefully he can avoid setbacks with his balky hamstring. Sep 19 - 12:46 PM
