Can someone explain our defense?

Quote:And which NFL franchise employs you again? And do your bosses know that you have signed off with players pinning their personal performance to that of another player? How does that work when they sign their contracts?

The same one that employs you. I don't clam to know it all I just go off what I see. The team played different. If you didn't see that then we watched two different games.

Not sure if you've played organized sports but momentum and trust in teammates is not witchcraft. It is real

Quote:Serious question. I heard we want Blake chants right from the beginning. He came in. Showed flashes of promise, but some bad rookie mistakes.

I don't understand the rational of fans who put blame on Henne. He is pedestrian we all get that. But blaming him when this Defense is horrendous.

First 6 possessions and Colts score.

My question is..why? This is our experienced group. Added some missing pieces, and they are absolutely the worst I've seen...especially with a decent line up...on paper anyway.

Why are they getting smacked around so bad?

Opening day. 20 th anniversary, and they looked like a deer in the headlights. Coaching? Don't care, no heart? So far I can see why Seattle thought Bryant and Clemmons were expendable.

Frustrating. Again.

I'm truly at a loss.

We were told that they are good on paper.  They have proven nothing on the field.  Only decent players are Marks, Bryant, Poz and Cyprien.  That's not going to get it done.

Don't attack me. I've said nothing but what I see. A offense that can't even get a first down does not make the defense play better.

So, which ones didn't care? Care to name them?

I saw a whole team who looked like they knew they didnt have a chance to win. That's how you beat bad teams. Jump on them quickly and take them out of the game emotionally. We heard that for years and saw that executed to perfection today.

I don't think it's right but to think that's doesn't happen is naive. If you know your leader isn't a good leader it might affect your ability. It isn't right but it happens.

Quote:Also look at the difference in the halves they didn't move the ball nor score as easy once our offense did something. It's a game of momentum you need the offense to move the momentum in today's game.

Lol you mean when it was 30-0? Good indicator of effort.

So, since I've never seen it, maybe you will have to teach me about this. Which teammates have you bailed on because you thought they weren't good enough to hack it? Were you getting paid to play when you did it? How did your teammates view you when you tanked it because you didn't like the way your other teammates were playing?

Not cool dude to turn this into an attack on my personal character. I was speaking on jags football and you have changed that to something different. I'm done with this thread and the bickering in it.

I'd like to blame it on the youth but I dunno. The secondary seems to be out of position at times which could be a scheme issue or a speed issue. I hate to say it but the LB coros still needs more speed. I think poz is great but he's really more of a 2 down linebacker. More work probably still needed on the rebuild.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

In all seriousness tho I have played football for quite sometime. I personally have never given up on guys but have witnessed guys not block for a qb because they was tired of him. I've watched d linemen let up and let a linebacker get destroyed.

It happens. Maybe when you played pop Warner you wernt good enough to control your ability but I've seen guys do this.

Name one then. Just one.

This isn't rocket science, tough guy. Just identify which chumps quit on their team by name. I know it's a lot to ask someone to back up such statements, but either you are a babbling idiot, or know what you are talking about. So, which is it?

let's see, me asking you to clarify your clearly defined attacks on players is somehow a personal attack on you? You suck at this.

Lol attacks on players. Suck at this lol. Alright buddy you win the internet today. Saying a player gave up is an attack on them? But saying I bailed on guys is not? Gotcha I need to try to get to your great scope of reasoning oh great Plato.
