Saying that mariotas accuracy is better than Teddy's is absolutely ridiculous. I think he just said that to make it an even fight.

He's higher on Mariota than most. Had to throw him a bone. Mariota struggles to get 60% with screen passes and swings all day.

The way he was talking about mariota, I would've thought he was the best qb prospect ever. Definitely didn't give teddy enough credit until the last paragraph or so.

There is just too many question marks with mariota for me to take him seriously over bridgewater.

Only think MM is better downfield. TB is better short-to-intermediate.

So basically he is struggling to justify his "1a, 1b" rankings for him.

Exactly.

Mariota's 60% is like Gabbert's 60% in college.

Teddy is much better from the line of scrimmage to 10 yards. The myth that Mariota only completed short passes to boost his completion % can die now. Mariota threw 7 more passes at the line of scrimmage. Sample of 3 games.

Teddy from los -10 - 42-51

Mariota from los - 10 - 30-49

Taken from http://sabotagefootball.blogspot.com/

He charts all of the qbs and he had 3 done for each.

Until we draft Teddy and the awful fanbase of this forum stops chittering about second class QBs.

So many awkward bad passes.

I can't even watch more of his tape, it's just depressing thinking we may have to settle for him or Hundley.

The beginning of the Tennessee game he shows his ultra inconsistency with accuracy. He will go through periods of awful throws and then make a big time throw.

Lol, what a joke.  He looked better than Bridgewater did in that Rutgers or Kentucky game and he is only a sophmore.  He had 5 TD's, threw some bullets, some nice deep ball passes,  2 of the deep misses was because of pass interference,  2 dropped TD's, would of had 7 TD's if they could catch.  It's just disturbing they way you feel about Teddy and the way you talk about the other QB's in this draft just shows your obsession and it's a little scary.  I can picture you with a Teddy blow up doll and Teddy pics hanging over your bed.  Teddy is good but it's a little much.

He definitely did not look nearly as good as Bridgewater as a passer. I think you have an issue looking past inflated stats.

You are a murray fan so your opinion on QBs means nothing to anyone though.

Not the stats, watch some of the passes he makes.  Mariota has an arm.  Bridgewater is good and I haven't seen many on here thinks that he isn't but you just go by what you read and hear on the internet and twitter.  Like last year they said Geno was the best so Geno it is.  If the media and the internet said Boyd was the best, you would be all over Boyd right now.

Then why have I been sporting a Bridgewater avatar and signature since the 2013 combine?

You are so silly!

Just breath...it's ok to talk about other QBs.

Mariota never sees actual pressure or has to thread the needle, it seems. He's in for a rude awakening if a team expects to start him week 1.

Not according to some. I wonder how some will react if we don't get the first pick.

Rant about how we should have never won a game. Call for Caldwells head, say the Jags can't even tank right. Something along those lines.

well, at least 2 of those things would be right in that instance.
