I saw it too. Its basically one play where he misfit... but also Ziggy Hood got completely out of position which allowed Trich to cut inside.

So its not all on Poz that play.

Id like to see a breakdown of the goalline hit he put on Trich. We wont get that though because this is a Poz hate fest.

I completely agree.  But blaming Poz on this forum for anything other than being awesome will get you nowhere.

Haha yea I know, Knarnn has a crush on the guy, the guy is an average linebacker at best, way overrated amongst Jaguar fans.

I feel like im one of the few people who actually appreciate what Poz does for this team.

Voting him as the weakest link over guys like Prosinski and Winston Guy is just ridiculous and shows that there is an agenda here.

The run play breakdown is a reach  -- but Poz has been a liability in coverage too frequently.  We've all known he's not a great fit for this scheme for a long time - so I'm not sure that this is "news" to anyone.

What is it exactly you appreciate? His leadership? Toughness? Because his play on the field hasn't been good considering the contract.

How does one play somehow prove that his entire year so far has been bad?  Pretty much every player on our defense has been poor except for Ryan Davis.... should we write articles about which plays they screwed up on.

We can start with Ziggy Hood on that play where for some reason only God knows, he does a spin move on an obvious running play.  He gets no where on the move, and then ends up five yards out of position.

He's a below average player getting paid like the best LB in the game.  I'd say there's an issue there.  And he has been a liability.  To say he hasn't been the "biggest" liability is sugarcoating it and not paying attention to what you're getting for your money.

And since when have Guy and Prosinski been high paid free agents pickups?  It's not a comparison.

So Poz is the new BCC whipping boy now that Henne gone? He can't cover but is solid vs the run.

Heart.  Toughness.  Intelligence.  Leadership.  His play has been one of the few bright spots imo.  If somebody else would make more tackles he wouldn't have to be everywhere on the field.

His been a liability in coverage since his Buffalo days, that's one of the reasons they let him walk in FA, a Buffalo columnist famously said "Paul couldn't cover a crock pot", no one is making this stuff up. He's a two down linebacker (at best) that has issues in coverage.

But he's not very good, I value those traits as well but prefer a guy standout on the football field, he doesn't.

Oh its about the money.  Excuse me while I give 0 fricks about his contract when we have 30 mil in cap.  To say he's the biggest liability is just wrong.  Show me which touchdown allowed where the guy was completely wide open was his fault.

Explain to me which LB on our team you DO think is very good and you can be pointed to a litany of plays where they screwed up.

You're making a logical mistake here. Recognizing a guy isn't good and is badly overpaid doesn't imply it's in contrast to those around him, though it's more difficult to argue the rest of the guys being overpaid to the extent Poz is.

I don't care how much cap space one has, you don't pay $9M/year to a below average linebacker, we need help in the secondary, should we go sign Drayton Florence at $7M per year?

Nah.  It's a myth.  When Poz got here he made an immediate positive impact.  People said Daryl Smith couldn't cover too.  It's nonsense and there isn't a  MLB in the league besides maybe 2-3 guys who can matchup with a TE.

I guess we can cut him and see where that gets us.  Good luck with that.

Let the hate party continue.  Im out.

That's the problem, non of the Jaguar linebackers are good, that's why so many teams (for years!) have success throwing to TE's, our linebackers make guys like Niles frickin Paul look like Shannon Sharpe, it's not that difficult to understand.
