We will destroy the Chargers

#81

Quote:there is no way we beat the chargers. They beat the Super Bowl champs who have a defense. we don't have a defense. It will be a huge blowout. this could be the team, and game were 60 points are scored on us. Biggest blowout ever in our franchiase history. We have no chance against sd. We haven't won in years on the west coast. oyr last west coast win was probbley what 20 years ago?

This doesn't sound like you.  Keep the faith!

I've always been told that any team can beat any NFL team on any given Sunday, so there is always hope.....

Blake Bortles first NFL Career Start at QB... be prepared to be amazed...

34-28 Chargers. Late TD by Bortles makes it closer than it looks.

We're gonna get stomped, but at least we get to see the beginning of a new era being formed on the field.

We are reading into this way too early. Lets see if the Jag's can pull this in close, then maybe. Defense is the key and have to be Defending ! And not looking ridiculously with all the blown coverage, and finger pointing who's doing what.

Otherwise Rivers will have a field day racking up the score, and making the chargers look like a all pro team.

Go Jags! Banana

I predict two areas of improvement in this game: On offense it will obviously be Bortles's ability to extend plays in the backfield.  In turn, extending the plays will enable the defense to stay on the sidelines for longer stretches and play at a higher level deeper into the game.

We know what our motivated and rested defense can do by looking at the first half of the Philadelphia game.  That wasn't a fluke.  We have the talent but not the balance to maintain it.  We'll lose this game, but it will be pivotal for laying our foundation for the Bortles era.

This game will be a lot closer than people think.

its not a matter of faith for this game. I would've said we would've lost vs chargers before they beat settle. when did jags last win on west coast a long time ago. our offinissive line is still trying to gel,and right now we have no defense. This will be the last game were we are blowen out. After we get stopped by SD the team will finnalley start getting better. we should go from 0-4 to 1-5 after steelers  game.

Just got the Firehouse sub coupon email.  Looks like Firehouse will be busy tonight.  Keep up the good work Scobee.

I agree.

If the D shows up, we could win this game. If Fisch takes the right kind of chances, we could win this game. We NEED to win this game.

Total wildcard - no one knows who will be coming out of the visitors gate.

Pummel Rivers and its ours for the taking.

If, and only if we do that, we have a chance.  I fully expect this offense to start scoring more points now.

If the defense creates turnovers and Bortles makes this offense score some TD's, we have a legit chance. Although, it is crazy to think the defense will be good this week... even with SD injuries.

I would love a win, but at this point it really doesn't matter much. I just wanna see Bortles and the offense go to work and get some points and experience together for when this team DOES have a solid defense again..
