***Official Jaguars @ Chargers Game Day Thread, Second Half***

Quote:Gene Smith drafted MJD. whats your point? Build the roster. Maybe he sucks at judging RB and DBs
Shack Harris drafted Mjd not Gene Smith. If u draft franchise qb it can make up for a a lot. just ask Bill Polian who drafted Peyton Manning to Colts.

Quote:Nothing about that play was Cecils fault.

Okay.

Cecil was lazy.

*EDIT* now he's going to the locker room, maybe an injury effected him on that pass?  Either way his effort looked really bad.

I think I am done with CS3...

The best ability is availability...

We just can't give up the TD here. But I know it's coming from this defense.

No pain, no gain.

Quote:Finally Ball's done something damn
He's been good the entire game.  He's the only DB that has.  (Cyp has been solid.)

Did anyone in here actually think the Jags were going to win today?

I mean really?

They have to be competitive first and so far they have been against a pretty good Chargers team.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Guess we're not as bad at Center considering the Chargers' problems

Quote:There's no reason to be complaining.  BB5 is starting and he IS going to make mistakes.  The Jags are at least competitive - just enjoy the game and watch the young players like D. Robinson, A. Robinson, Bowanko, etc. grow and develop.

No one should have expected the Jags to be a playoff team this year.  NEXT year, if we pick up some decent FA's and have another good draft - that will be different.

Agreed on offense but the defense is pathetic.  Especially with the FA signings on that side of the ball.  They should have been decent.

They don't appear like they can cover the TEs and the deep passes.  They have Cyp on Gates and he's even getting beat.  The scheme is terrible and we lack good players on D.

Even with their center trying to help us, Our D is still having insane issues.
