At some point we need a QB that can move in the pocket to elude a rush. You can't ask for perfect year-long protection every play regardless of first round talent. If we had any sensible running game it would slow the pass rush.

our offense is an embarrassment; we lack in almost every regard. And what vanilla play calling! We need a starting quarterback, Neither Henne or Gabbert are the answer. MoJo is playing like he is either (a) still gimped or (b) just doesn't give a crap any more. Brad Meester should have retired...

 

In all fairness though in view of the wreck of a team created by Gene Smith, none of us should be expecting very much from the jags for at least the next several years. Much of what we are now enduring is due to the soft heart of former owner, Wayne Weaver. It's almost like we're having to endure the rebuilding of the team from scratch...sad.
