Jags 7 point underdogs, could this be our week?

Quote:Not about being pessimistic but being realistic about the situation. We suck. And we suck at just about every facet of organized football. The qb position is looking up but that's it. But call me whatever that's cool. Vegas would love you and your delusional optimistic bunch on here if yall were bettors. When the team starts to resemble a compentent NFL team I'll give credit to them. I have no problem doing that.

The wide receivers are looking up too - especially Hurns and Robinson. If you don't see that, you are being pessimistic.

Yeah I don't see us stopping Antonio Brown or Bell or Miller or Big Ben when he decides to stroll out of the pocket for 10 yards and a first down.

So let's put Cyprien on Brown and Poz on Bell.

It'll probably be Cyp on Miller and Poz on Bell. I don't think we have anyone that can sufficiently cover Brown.

As long as we don't have someone like Guy blowing coverages and containments left and right you don't need someone to lock a guy down, just actually stay near enough to him that Roethlisberger looks elsewhere a lot of the time.

Most of the possibility of the Jaguars winning lies with Bortles and the offense anyway. Remember how badly the Jaguars mauled Tampa in the pre-season? That team just beat the steelers. This isn't an invinceable steelers team.

We have to put somebody on Brown. Might as well be our best defensive back.

Quote:I believe in the span of 2004-2008, Rashean Mathis picked off Roethlisberger in every game we played them. Including the 2 INT's in the playoff game.

Roethlisberger/Maddox

Tampa Bay was playing lots of backups and third stringers because it was preseason. Of course we were too. You really can't go by a preseason game to figure out how bad the Buccaneers are.

In case you haven't heard, Winston Guy was cut.

Our offensive line and running game will not cause us to lose. Neither will Poz or Cyprien. Try again.

1) James Harrison

2) Brett Keisel

3) Troy Polamalu

4) Lawrence Timmons

Harrsion will put someone out for the game. Keisel will get a sack, strip, fumbled. Polamalu will pick-up that fumble and return it for a TD. Timmons will also force an INT in the redzone. Despite all of that. I think we win.... 21 to 20.

Harrison came out of retirement. He probably will be a little rusty.

Is Polamalu still in peak form? Some people say he has declined.

I did not know Kiesel and Timmons were still on the roster.

I don't think we have to wait that long with the Titans, Browns, and Dolphins coming up next.

WHAT??!?!??!?!?111111

GUY WAS CUT?!??!?!1111

Point is Tampa's o-line was even worse than ours. That's not a team loaded with talent, and they were getting worked left and right, too. Remember them getting beat down by the Falcons? That same Falcons team that Bridgewater just took to school.

The steelers are a vulnerable team, and the Jaguars are improving.

There is a long thread about Guy being cut. Scroll down on the homepage and you  will see the news.

It is worth noting the Buccaneers needed a comeback drive to beat the Steelers.
