Allen Hurns hands

#21

Quote:Three touchdowns. He caught two at Philadelphia and Blake's first touchdown.

Some people just complain about everything. Anyone who thinks Allen Hurns is one of our problems needs to look at my avatar.
Two that he caught in the OP's preferred manner. With his hands.

Hmm NFL's writer Michael Fabiano listed Allen Hurns as #9 in a list of 10 players you need to pick up on your Fantasy team...

he wrote..

Hurns was a major sleeper in Week 1, posting 110 yards with a pair of touchdowns and 23.00 fantasy points. While his numbers have dropped from those lofty totals, he's still seeing a bunch of targets in the Jaguars passing game. When you also consider that Cecil Shorts III has become prone to injuries, Hurns is even more of a fantasy option as a reserve and matchup-based or bye-week replacement

Allen Hurns is currently ranked #24th overall in the NFL in total receiving yards, ranked 16th in Avg with (21 yards), 77th with receptions (12), and ranked 10th in TDs with 3 (should be ranked 5th had he ran into the endzone on that big catch)...

At lease he doesn't have skinny ankles like Bridgewater.

Hurns hands are way better than Cecil Shorts' hamstrings. They can sit that dude by the side of the curb for trash pickup.

True. I think it was just a waste of time.

If you think I offended you, don't worry, I meant to. #facts

Yeah Hurns probably should have caught it cleanly and walked into the end zone. But hey he still caught it.

He's had one bad drop this year in Washington.

Simmer down people, he's looked good

I don't care how he's catching them, as long as he is.. Although some time with the juggs machine cant hurt.. I need some time with a juggs machine too.. Gotta find my little black book..

Allen Hurns is ranked 7th in Rec. among rookies but Allen Robinson is tied for 3rd among rookies with 17...

Allen Hurns is ranked 2nd in total rec. yards among the rookies, Allen Robinson is ranked 6th...

Allen Hurns is ranked 3rd in yards avg among rookies 21.2 (the other two only have 2 catches) and Robison is ranked 17th...

Both rookie WRs are looking great going into week 5...

I don't really think his hands are his issue, as much as just staying calm when he and he rest of the world knows hes wide open for a score, and he can count down the seconds to when the ball will land in his breadbasket. He merely over-thinks and gets excited when a TD is imminent. Look at his 2nd TD vs. Eagles. That is not a guy with bad hands.

Are we really upset about an undrafted rookie? Lets talk about the WRs we spent 2nd round picks on

Allen hurns is  playmaker.  He had a nice long catch that should of been a td.  Nice to see him still make the catch

Quote:The kid can get open no doubt, but if he can't catch the ball what good is he? He almost dropped another wide open bomb, he was very lucky the ball fell on top of him. I hope Sullivan can get this guy to consistently catch the deep ball
No offense, but you're questioning a guy who is on pace to break all UDFA rookie records. A guy who is at this very moment ahead of Mike Evans and Sammy Watkins, you know, the first two WRs picked in the draft.

Other guys he is catching better than  and ahead of so far: Mike Wallace, A.J. Green, Anquan Boldin, Michael Crabtree, DeSean Jackson, and Devin Hester. All pro bowlers or highly sought free agents.

Maybe we should question other members of the team? Just a guess, but I will go out on a limb and say that there are some players playing more poorly that may be worthy of discussion. But Hurns? Really?

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Hurns will be fine. Plus his double move is nasty.

At least we have someone who can go down field and get open.

No pain, no gain.

And a QB that can actually throw to him, on target.
