Seeing what Bortles brings, I bet Blackmon has already contacted his agent. Smile

...one can dream.

This is somewhat interesting... did bortles really cause blackmon to reconsider?

TMD actually kept saying that Blackmon will come back or go through the rehab when he finally sees a real QB in jacksonville.

Even though I think that's ridiculous, the timing of this rumor makes you kind of think about it.

Maybe B14ckmon will open the lines of communication with B5 starting, I don't blame him for being standoffish with Henne/Gabbert, no point getting injured following that freak show.

I'll be in the minority's saying this but I think Blackmon might have came back because he misses football. I don't think he says no to millions and playing football because they don't want to play with somebody. You can say, "he turned down millions for substance abuse" but I think it's more plausible to believe he just thought he could get away with it. He's an addict. He may have made some stuuuupid decisions repeatedly, but so have all of us. So, I'm thinking Blakckmon just missed playing football. i mean, he balled out even with Henne and Gabbert. 236 yards in a game balled out. Now, if you can make a case that Bortles' play made him miss competitive ball, I'd be more willing to believe that than he didn't want to play for millions because of Henne

I have a question. Let's say you're suspended for a year/16 games and you've about 4 games left in the season. Things don't go well for tryout team and your head coach is fired and a new coach is hired. Does the suspended player have a chance to talk to the coach or get a playbook while he is suspended?

One of the kids on my homenoys youth football team said Blackmon was over at Terry Parker speaking to the kids Yesterday. So hes back in the ville if that means anything. Bortles to Blackmon... I will cry tears of joy if I get to hear that.

You missed me. I was giving a hypothetical. In the event that this was to happen. I'm just curious of what happens in a case like that. Rather than create a new thread, I thought I'd ask in a thread about a suspended player

Suspended usually means no contact with the team or the coaches. not sure about playbook but would think follows same lines.

He has mountains of talent, it's too bad he has a mole hill worth of sense.

I can only wonder how our offense would look had he been healthy and available since he was drafted?

I think he possibly makes the difference between victory and defeat in at least one game last year-maybe Buffalo or Tennessee.

In some crazy way, maybe the suspension was for the best, because with that one or two extra wins, we don't get Bortles.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
