Week 6 Games Of Interest

Quote:I agree. Two years ago when they won 11 games, he was a monster and they won because of him. The play calling has been atrocious.

What? He was hardly a "monster." He was strictly a game manager. They relied on their run game and defense.

True...I used the incorrect wording.  He did make plays with his legs that year and some clutch throws as well.  He may not have been a Heisman hopeful, but he was good when they needed it.

Since I'm not a die hard Gator like you....but you're also a die hard for 13 other college football teams.

You of all people should know when not to post.

I don't consider myself a "die-hard" Gators fan. Flo/rida will always be second to Ohio State for me.

Another Oregon game, another chance to check out mariota and grasu.

Both teams 4-0, conference matchup...Oregon looking sharp in black and pink...

Good game on paper.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Arizona all the way, I love the upset in college football.

Lucky stop on 4th down, that WR dropped that pass with nobody within 10 yards of him.

That's the kind of play that just makes you shake your head. The 3rd down conversion that just happened was a sexy little throw though.

Oregon has been in a lot of these situations already, credit to Arizona's defense thus far.  Outside of a play or two they've done well.  There again with the sack on third down after the big loss on 2nd down.  I planned on going to bed early until I remembered this game was on.

Left tackle on Oregon is getting schooled. Grasu is playing like a wall right now.

Same here I almost walked out the door to the gym and remembered it was on. Now I'm firmly planted with a beer in my hand.

16oz curls tonight.

Grasu has done a fantastic job pass blocking.  Arizona hasn't made it very difficult for him on the inside yet but he's blocking anything and everything in front of him.

Wow, that was close!

I think he was in but that was way closer than it should have been.

My guess is mariota knew he was in but in those situations if the ref called it the other way, the replay wouldn't have made them change their mind!

That's likely the case.  I'm not sold on him being the number one pick level guy but he sure is fun to watch.

I just don't know who else is really gonna fit that number 1 pick spot.

For us, we want him to be amazing so if we are getting that first pick, we can get the proverbial kings ransom.

Hey also, remember when everyone was again clamoring last year that this crop of qbs would be better than the 2014 class?

Mariota is already drawing doubt's, Winston is a joke.

Hundley is injured.

Connor cook is rising but likely late first status, maybe mid first at best.
