Bortles is a problem

Quote:If he puts it at the numbers our rookie WRs try to use their chest to catch and drop it lol.

We need Lewis healthy...
The drops were very frustrating. Allen Robinson was the most consistent WR today. I thought he played ok, although he made some mistakes as well

Quote:It wasnt just in the red zone. He's almost regressed since his first outing. We might need to go get a legitimate QB guru coach in order to avoid another bust scenario. Borltes has the tools and mobility, work ethic and willingness to learn and be coached. Those are qualities that would be a shame to waste.

His footwork was bad in those situations which was the concern coming out of college.

I can't believe what I am reading.  This kid did what he could to win the game.  Hurns screwed the pooch today, and AR-15 was inconsistent.  Lets see...Rookie QB, RB, BOTH starting WR's, behind a crappy offensive line...come on.  It's not BB.  He's shown flashes, and I think he wanted to get something going, but the players around him suck so bad, he looks mediocre to some of you.  Look past the INT's.  You know ALL of you will be eating your words soon enough.  If you want to blame someone, blame the coaches.  They are horrendous.

He's a rookie, bad days are to be expected.  Consistently throwing high in the red zone needs to be ironed out soon, though.

Bortles was a part of it, he played like a rookie and made mistakes.  That doesn't mean I think he should be benched or anything like that.  But he didn't play well, that's all.

ok so after a respectable, dare I say good defensive performance the pick six isnt on bortles? It wasn't a 30 point blowout. The game was in grasp. He check out of a called play to throw a wounded duck.

Bortles owned up to it in an interview after the game.  He called it a "boneheaded play" on his part.

That is indecision and being a rookie.  As pointed out by the broadcasters, the players around him have to help bail him out.  Rookies all around we aren't going to win many games this year.  If we don't see improvement then next year will be painful as well.

Watching this QB is very very enjoyable.  Henne the 3 and out machine was right on the bench where he belonged.

Dang, went to the park with my kids for a couple hours after the game and there are 8 pages regarding BB5?

I'm assuming that it's about 60/40 BB5 has issues?

There are fairly amount of wait and see types which I respect. Others want to blame everyone else and give Blake's play a pass. Sorry but I won't the ints are a problem. Hopefully its not a trend that continue's.

The trend of INT's will most likely continue this year.  I can live with an agressive down the field throw that is intercepted.  But one's like the pick 6 need to stop as the season moves along.

i really hope he doesn't finish the season with more INTs than TDs.  That would just give all the haters more ammo.
