FSU followed their protocol. They suspend athletes if they are facing felony charges. Jameis was facing no charges, so he shouldn't have been suspended. Sorry if that upsets you.

 

Treon shouldn't be suspended either until he's charged with something.

UF is handling this the correct way.  FSU otoh handled it very poorly by letting their guy play even though he might have been guilty.

Disagree.  If there is even a possibility that the accusation is true, you don't play him.  It's very telling on which university actually cares about integrity.  FSU played their guy no matter what, for which they were greatly criticized and rightly so.  UF actually has some moral fiber and did the right thing.

one school lets their guy play in the midst of serious accusations... a move that has disgusted everybody except for FSU fans (go figure)

 

the other school suspends their guy indefinitely just in case it happens to be true.

Kudos to Gainesville PD for handling this properly and didn't let MONTHS go by before investigating.  Cant say the same for FSU fans (aka TPD).

So your solution is suspend the player before all the facts are gathered? You sound like a level-headed fellow. 

 

And what happens if Treon is found not guilty of these alleged sexual assault charges? What is UF supposed to do? Just say "Oh, well, sorry Treon"?
