Arm concussion occurs when the bone marrow is shaken so hard that it slams against the bone interior and can cause bruised areas of the marrow; leading to muscle memory loss. Arm contusion takes place when the outer layer of skin and underlying tissues are bruised and damaged from external blows against that location. Obviously, the concussions are much worse though.
