Wow, Bradley's got no stones.

He can't even make this obvious and deserving move with conviction???

He preaches competition. He's stated dozens of times that he expects these kind of situations to motivate the demoted player.

You're reading it wrong.

You're calling out a professional at the absolute pinnacle of his field from the anonymity of your keyboard.

And he lacks "stones"...

What a joke.

I like the Jags this week. They get Lee and Shorts back, giving Bortles all of his weapons (besides Lewis). Gerhart is hurt so there will be more elusiveness out of the backfield. The Titans D is not very good....I think I can see a win coming this weekend.

I hope one of the RBs really steps up this week. Hell even an average running game would help the offense run a lot smoother.

Yeah, Bradley preaches competition, and McCray answered the call and produced better than his (competition) and easily deserves the starting gig at this point. Now Bradley is seemingly waffling/ lacking conviction to just come out and decisively annoint McCray the job he earned.

OK.  If you say so.  I think that's utterly ridiculous.

You didn't even read what he said. You are only making your preconceived assumptions.

Stop.

Replying.

To.

Him.

Let him fade into anonymity
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Pronouncing the starter would be saying the competition is over. His stated belief (right or wrong) has ALWAYS been that competition brings out the best in the players. Therefore he's going to drag out the competition as long as there is even a sliver of a chance that one guy could flip a switch, have a great day and earn his way back up the depth chart for that week.

I can see disagreeing with the decision, but in this specific instance he is in perfect synch with his stated philosophy.

Ummmm, thats my point - the competition clearly ended (or should have) with McCray's production the past several weeks. He's now earned the gig. There should be no indecision at this point. At a LATER time perhaps Gratz could get a chance to win the job back if McCray should regress. But as of right now McCray clearly should have won the gig.

The competition was how each produced in GAME action when they had the chance. McCray clearly won that competition to anyone with functioning eyes. It wasn't even close.  Now its time for Bradley to have to conviction to award McCray the gig, decisively.
