Who is Andrew Luck?

Quote:TMD, don't feed that guy. He's the biggest troll this board has seen since Jungle Cat.

Are we sure he's not JungleCat?  If we hear him talk about drafting another Tackle, then we'd be sure.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Or Cody Green. Lol

I'm not JungleCat.  But we do need another LT. The current one is a bust.

Seriously, go through JaguarsAreBeasting's post history. If you dislike a team THAT much, why put so much effort into watching them? Surely there are better things to do with one's time, no?

I'm Jags fan since 95. Gotta release my frustration at the results of the past 7 something seasons.

Whats funny is most of the Jaguar article on the T-U site have one comment. It is Jungle Cat talking about Jake Matthews.

I wonder if we can get back on topic and discuss Andrew Luck without people getting all poopy in their pants over Jedd Fisch.

Theres really nothing left to discuss on this topic really....

Last night should have cemented it. Luck's easily a top 5 QB in this league now.

The people stating otherwise have zero basis of fact to support their arguments.

I've stated facts and everyone just dismisses them with some tired quip.

Rewatch the games. Lucks passes are often off the mark. The receivers bail him out on the regular. He is a bad decision maker and has been lucky this year that so many picks have been dropped.

He played two pretty good teams and threw 4 picks against them. If you want to count the eagles D as good, he did have 3 TD and 1 int vs them but ypa for broncos, eagles, ravens are 6.98, 5.06, and 6.37, respectively. Ypa is your stat.

His numbers against good teams this year are 87/136 64%, 6TD 5INT, 6.14YPA

Those are average to slightly above average numbers overall. Bad TD to int ratio, low YPA.

He did add two rushing touchdowns but also has had 2 fumbles. But outside of those numbers, again, like I said, watch the throws, go count the interceptions that were directly in defenders hands and dropped. I've only seen 4 games and saw 6 with my own two eyes.

You could probably make a similar argument for/ against any QB.

At the end of the day all you can do is go by the season he's having....and its top 5.

As said before also......he's now 26-12 with a roster that is not much w/o him.

There is no such thing as an almost interception. Hell rewatch Denver vs IND. Peyton was lucky based on your vision that Butler and Toler dropped at least 4 INTs of his.

You are the only person in America who spews this non logic.

That's just you discounting the roster. Dwayne Allen is a very good tight end. Reggie Wayne is Reggie Wayne. Hilton is a speedster that makes plays by the plenty. He has his comfort blanket for the past... 5 years? Fleener. The offensive line last night was actually giving him a lot of time even though they were going up against the best defensive player in football. Couldn't stop him, but he had plenty of plays where he had time, and the o line has been pretty good all year.

The defense gives up a lot of points (they do have some good pieces) and I give it to luck that he puts up some good point totals but so do cutler, romo, Eli manning...

If he was more efficient or more accurate I would call him elite but he isn't and over the course of his whole career he hasnt gotten better at the things that hold him back.

If anyone is really going to tell me they watched it all and he isn't inaccurate and he doesn't make bad decisions then there is no point in even trying to have a discussion because you're in denial.

Yeah it isn't a stat but when your QB does it all the time, sooner or later its going to catch up to him. I'm also talking about passes thrown directly at the defender from luck staring down his receiver and not seeing the defender. Would you rather have a QB who does that or doesn't, even though it doesn't show up in the stat sheet? Pretty easy answer.

Also again, nice non logic quip, you took one point out of everything I said and deflected it by bring up the greatest regular season QB of all time whose TD to int ratio has stood the test of time and blows lucks out of the water.

You are scrambling so bad I almost feel sorry for you.

Guess what good teams are good teams for a reason. Sometimes Qbs will play not as good against them.

At the same point in their career, Luck has much fewer INT's than Manning did. Actually Luck has had a better start to his career than Manning did.

Another baseless dismissal. OK buddy.
