Mettenberger
|
Murray's "average" arm looked pretty good yesterday.
And Mettenberger played like a man on fire! Of course both had receivers that the Jags could sure use. The back and forth on that game was just outstanding to watch. Those two will be a success where ever they go. They have the drive and the fire.
Because Jaguars is our mantra

A month ago, I was somewhat high on Mett. Now, I wouldn't touch him anywhere in the first three rounds.

He struggled mightily against Florida, and is off to a bad start here. Quote:time to drive his stock even higher. big ben 2.0 Except without the mobility.
Quote:On the contrary. Somehow, I doubt you even saw the game. He legitimately struggled making reads, feeling the pocket, and had an ugly fumble in LSU territory. Not a good, nor solid, game by any means. Dang...at this rate Mariota may be a better option than Murray and Mettenberger

Quote:Would you say Cam Newton has the most physical potential in the NFL?Haven't seen much of him either, but I would say tentatively yes. Either him or Kaepernick. Which is interesting, because both of those and Mariota (all big, strong, fast QBs) are heavily used in read-option concepts.

dudes bringing his team back with the help of ole miss mistakes. nice throw on 4th and 10.
All it took was one game for him and Murray to get extremely overrated. Both are mid-late round draft picks.
