Miss St up 21-0 in the 1st!  No way anyone predicted that.

TCU up 14-0 in 1st.

Quote:Even if that happens, there is no way they win the SEC title game this year.

Remember the Colts went up 24-0 in the first quarter and the Texans made it a close game before halftime? This game could be like that one.

Only 3 more hours until I finally have a game to watch . . . GO GATORS!

Who thinks Florida will beat LSU tonight?

That fake punt was a bad, bad call.  Miss St.'s Defense is real.  My Lord are they good.

That was a terrible call by Mullen. I don't get it at all.

I always hated fake punts. They almost never work because the ball needs to go more than 15 yards.

That's why the fake punt call isn't as bad as it appeared. Mullen knows the strength of his defense, so it was a very good calculated risk. I think at that position of the field he didn't count on Auburn being in safe. Had he completed it, the blowhards talk about what a phenomenal call it is.

No, that's not true whatsoever.

Me either, pin them deep with a punt.  Your defense has held them in check, odds are Auburn wouldn't have been able to move the ball too far and they'd end up punting it back giving Miss St. good field position.

He's lucky the defense held them to 3 points.

I get this too.  I still don't think it was the best call for the reasons I stated above.

He had a guy open a little further on down the field.

Neither team looks very good. Tons of mistakes.

The punter stands 15 yards behind the LOS. The ball needs to go somewhere past the LOS to get a first down. What is not true?

Maybe it's nerves but Prescott does not look like a Heisman contender.

It is ridiculous how many guys are called Heisman contenders when the season starts. Some of those players are grossly overrated.

Of course I don't know if that is the case with Prescott.

There really arent any obvious Heisman contenders this year.

Ole Miss up 21-0 right now.  A&M just arent all that great.  That early season win against SC was a little bit of fools gold.

Agree. I'm not sure the SEC is as great at people are making it out to be. Alot of teams (Bama, Missouri, LSU, SC, A&M) look worse than last year.
