WEEK 6 - News/Notes/Tweets Etc.

Quote:Denard is 100% running back. The only reason he is listed as a wide receiver is he wanted to wear #16.

They can list him at RB and he can still wear #16.

Quote: I don't think he's on the practice squad. He's listed on the active roster.

He was listed as "inactive" for the Steelers game however.

Nope. It goes from Ta'ofu'ou to Thomas.

NFL rules state running backs can't wear a number under 20.

Quote:Even 7 is a high number. My assumption is if Lee is back to stay, King gets the axe.
Yep.  Unless they like him better than Brown.  Browns drops per target have been pretty bad this season.

 15 targets / 7catches / 3 drops according to

Hurns has the same drop number - but with twice the number of targets.

Last name is King.  (after Jones - before Lee)

And Brown they pretty much already know what he is. King might be worth keeping around through the offseason.

If a player changes position from a skill position (RB, WR, TE, DB) to another skill position. They don't have to change numbers as long as they're with the same team.

That's why Devin Hester was able to wear 23 as a WR with the Bears, which is a number typically for DBs (which he originally was) and RBs. But had to switch to a WR number in 17 with the falcons

He was never really a wide receiver. Last year we tried him at several positions to see what he can do before deciding he should be exclusively a running back.

Because you were so quick to criticize that you didn't pay enough attention to detail.

I have a family member that has Aspergers, JW.  It helps me understand your posting. That's why I always attempt to respond or converse with you as literally as possible and ignore any unintentional terse comments.

I get that, but you gotta understand, sometimes how you post comes off as insulting. Its why you get some of the responses you do.

Just trying to help you out here.

Asperger's or not, shouldn't you know that insulting posters (on occasion) or being overly critical will get these types of responses? Genuine question here.

Since you're coaching folks on not "coming off as insulting" I think Bed Bath and Beyond has a sale on mirrors this weekend.
