What happened to the people that said all they want is a competitive game? 

I'm fine with that actually.  Sure, you want to see the win, but at least this week it wasn't a blowout and we had a chance to win at the end.  A few plays go our way - Todman catches the ball, Shorts doesn't fumble - and we win.

I agree, they have a lot of work to do.  Young teams tend to lack consistency.  I was just interested that some other posters were saying all they really wanted was to be competitive and now that we've been competitive the last two weeks, it's now not enough.

It was all crap from the Usual Suspects. They get what they say they want with management changes, coaching changes. player changes, competitive games but really what they want is the hardest thing; winning. Winning takes time when you build from an expansion quality roster. They just don't have the patience for it.

In this imaginary world, we're competitive with good teams, not 1-4 teams playing their backup qb. And presumably some of those competitive games are wins.


So what they're really saying is a season where we're competitive.
