The Jaguars Defense

I'm thinking this defense is pretty good. Last two game, just one pass touchdown. Maybe it's the Bortles effect where we aren't going 3 & out (just one 3 & out) and he is moving then ally (27 first downs to 14 for the Titans). Cyprien is playing well, McCray and Ball are solid. We are getting pressure. We aren't getting turnovers but we are covering well. Only gave up 10 and 16 points. Our offense isn't scoring but we are going in the right way even without the personnel

Bortles definitely helps. Longer drives leads to less overall defensive time on the field. Still giving to much up on the pass though in some key situations.

Also, I think wrong section. :woot:

You can definitely tell a major difference between the Henne led Jags and the Bortles led Jags. Still, there are too many open spots in the defense and no one can cover a TE. It is crazy that we are in the running for most sacks though.

The story of our defense at Tennessee was missed tackles. The front four did a great job making Charlie Whitehurst look like a deer in the headlights, but the secondary and linebackers often whiffed during the first half.

Cyprien can cover a tight end. Did you watch the Chargers game?
