… to be watching college football and not "scouting" wide receivers for the Jaguars?
For the first time in many years I'm enjoying watching college games and focusing on players other than WR and QB. I like it! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quarterbacks mostly. Watching Winston have his off the field issues and seeing Syracuse drop two easy INTs, I don't have to think "hmmm, maybe he'll be a Jaguar.".

We don't need to scout quarterbacks now either. Maybe next year. Even if we did need to draft a quarterback in 2015, no way would that guy be Jameis Winston. Why would we want someone charged with sexual assault?
For the first time in a few years, it's nice to be able to say "I really hope this QB is going to be good, and the Jags draft him"
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

It is nice. Sadly though we are more aware of other glaring holes in our team now. It's been WR and QB for years, now it's pass rusher and saftey. I'll be thrilled when we finally field a complete team.

I'll be thrilled when we finally field a complete team. We already were aware of the defensive line problems and kept trying to fix them with the wrong guys. But now with Poz showing his age (he just turned a year older yesterday), we are declining at LB. Strong safety has been upgraded, so I am only going to scout the free safeties. I'll stick to watching the people I want the Jags to get. But it would require too much moving around in the draft.
Kurtis Drummond Denzel Perryman A.J. Johnson Jeff Heuerman And other LBs and Secondaries Quote:We don't need to scout quarterbacks now either. Maybe next year. Do some research. He was never charged with anything. Quote:… to be watching college football and not "scouting" wide receivers for the Jaguars? I like it too. I can now focus on RB, OL, DL, LB and DB. Worst to 1st. Even though it's unlikely, I can't count out getting a WR, at least not yet. But I get what you're saying. The offense has a lot of promise because of BB and with the development of Lee and AR, that should not be a concern going into the offseason.
With the first pick, I can't imagine going anywhere but DL or Landon Collins, after that, OL, LB, and TE are in the mix.
A defensive lineman is one thing we definitely don't need. We are in the top five with 17 sacks and almost had another one yesterday.
What we need the most are a tight end, left guard, outside linebacker, and free safety. Give me all of those and I will say it is a good draft.

Even though it's not a major need, we can't pass on an elite DLineman especially when you don't even have one. Marks and Branch are nice players, but not elite. Although we're getting sacks, the pressure hasn't been very consistant after the first half of the Philly game. I've seen too many times where the QB has dropped back and had all day to throw. Seems that many of the sacks we've got are either coverage sacks or someone running free at the QB, not many plays where we're winning one on one matchups. I would think he would eventually replace Marks at the 3 tech though. Either way, he's arguably the best player in the draft and would be very happy with getting an interior pass rusher who's also very good against the run.
