Gus Bradley's press conference

Quote:I agree.

Cut bait at seasons end, and get Harbaugh in here at head coach (or similar quality offensive mind) and get Rex Ryan in here to run the defense.

The results will be immediate for 2015.

Rex Ryan is a moron.

Quote:WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPETITIVE! THEYRE A BAD TEAM PLAYING FREAKING WHITEHURST. "IMPROVEMENT"? It's all relative. This is still a really, really bad team.

Right now we are so bad any improvement is a good thing. Gus Bradley said the little mistakes stand out more in close games than blowouts.

Quote:It's Caldwell's job to fire him but he is showing to be a below average GM at best so I'm not hopeful for our future.

I don't think Caldwell has done a below average job improving the personnel on this roster.

I think the roster is extremely poorly coached.

Hey, our young roster has developed a culture of losing now, so we have that going for us

I disagree with that. He showed some cajones picking Bortles with the 3rd pick. The safe pick was Mack.

Again I will ask:

Please name a few head coaching candidates that you think would be good choices other than Harbuagh.  It's no guarantee that he'll even be leaving San Fran.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

He's basically saying "Bortles is great, fire the GM that drafted him".

He probably does not even realize he is a hypocrite.

Beadles is a scrub, Joeckel isn't showing much other than getting beat, other players of his are showing to be average at best.  Bortles is the only real bright spot.  At absolute best, DC is average.

Separate the simpleton view that because Rex Ryan is not a good HEAD coach from Rex Ryan as Defensive Coordinator.

He's one of the best in the NFL in that role.

JUst like Norv Turner is a bad HEAD coach, but still one of the best OC's in the league.

Especially when it's against bad teams. I dont put much stock in what gus has to say quite honestly. I dont think he knows how to manage a team.

Bortles is the only bright spot so far.  How about Beadles (scrub), Joeckel (bust) and on and on?

Quote:I don't care what he says publicly.  I just hope that he figures out what's wrong with the team, and fixes it.  Because I think we have a little more talent on this team than the results show.  I'm not saying anyone here has it right.  But I hope Gus is able to figure out what is right.

He can't fix everything by himself. The players have to do their jobs. Gus Bradley is figuring out what needs to be fixed every week.

If our QB is the only real bright spot, that is a good problem to have from a GM perspective. Give Joeckel more time.

I have and still remain critical of Caldwell's free agency approach, but trust his draft picks.

I would take any offensive guru at this point. Defense has been bad, but this team has had trouble scoring enough points FOR YEARS

So you get a pass because Blake is panning out?

Oh he's learning? So why are we wasting timeouts still?

Then send TMD over to Harbaugh  and Rex to convince/pay (with his own money) them to come here after we release Bradley.

Lol.

He refuses to answer your question. Are you on his ignore list or something?

Chris Polian also could be a big contributor for the free agent signings. He's director of pro personnel.
