Fire Gus Bradley

Quote:Lol they really aren't.In reality it is. Everything hinges on whether they got it right with the QB selection. Everything else will get fixed, but they have to get that one right. If they miss, they'll be gone soon enough. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Quote:Man, the board is overwhelmed with these today. It's time for a post count requirement to start new threads Admin! Why, because you don't agree with his opinion of an inevitability? There is little to zero chance that Gus Bradley is EVER a successful NFL head coach. I doubt he ever even gets another HC opportunity. He is brutally awful and instead of getting better, he's gotten worse at the few things that HE can control. All this post count nonsense is just delusion speaking. These posters are speaking the truth and some of you are just insanely loyal and delusional. I'll say it, Khan's a horrible owner, Caldwell is 'just a guy' and Bradley is one of the worst NFL HCs ever. Quote:Why, because you don't agree with his opinion of an inevitability? The only persons who can express truths are the ppl who evaluate Gus because they are his boss and that would be Dave and Khan.

Quote:I doubt Bradley could secure any top oc or dc st this point. I hope we get over the hump and see a big turn around this season. ThesE guys need to know what winning feels like. It's like they make every mistake not to win. The Jaguars are beating the Jaguars. That's when you know coaching needs to step up. That first sentence is probably a good point, and maybe another reason why he'll need to be fired at seasons end. What good OC/ DC would chance coming here under Bradley and the lack of security given Bradley's record up until that point?? Quote:You are not being patient. I think Gus's seat should be warming up right now. Losing to a Charlie Whitehurst led tacks team should not be acceptable. I'm not saying that he should be fired at the end of the season. But I think it's on him to show that he deserves another year after that loss.
I'd like to see him take over the defense. And I'd like to see Fisch be less conservative. I think he could turn it around still. The question is -- will he?
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:Exactly. Gus' seat isn't even remotely warm at this point, and odds of that changing this year are pretty remote. It was his choice to not start bortles right away, which was obviously wrong, i think we can say that now. I called it. He was trying to use keeping him on the bench as a tool to increase his longevity. Quote:I think Gus's seat should be warming up right now. It wasn't the defense that lost that game. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

He was hired to coach and win games. I really hope things get better and Gus becomes a better coach. Only bc of BB5. He needs consistency until he refines his craft. ![]() Quote:It was his choice to not start bortles right away, which was obviously wrong, i think we can say that now.I disagree that it was "obviously wrong." There's no telling what would have happened if he'd started from opening day, especially with the line in such a state of flux, and the receiving corps a work in process. Odds are he wouldn't have won either of the first two games. We'll never know otherwise, but hey, fixate on that. To say he was being kept on the bench to increase his longevity, I'm assuming you're talking about the coach's longevity? If that's the case, this is probably one of the stupidest things I've seen suggested on this board ever. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:I have to agree with this. He's not judged by his QB, that's Caldwell. He was hired to coach and win games. The success of the head coach is just as reliant on Bortles as it is for the GM. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The decision to start Chad was the wrong one. It's ok to disagree with the coach and GM sometimes. You know that right? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:That first sentence is probably a good point, and maybe another reason why he'll need to be fired at seasons end.Typical bar stool diva doing his little pirouettes. Gus was in your top tier of coaching candidates. Lest we forget that. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:So the WR corp isn't a work in progress anymore? The entire offense is a work in progress with so many rookies out there. You're more than welcome to disagree with their decisions. How's that influencing them again? The bigger concern was always the offensive line. They started Henne because they knew they could let him get hammered out there until the line started to come together. That mission was accomplished, and Bortles is starting behind a line that is significantly different from the one Henne was behind. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:The entire offense is a work in progress with so many rookies out there. It's not. Never claimed it did. But for you to still think that starting Chad was the right decision is delusional. It's pretty clear who the better QB was/is which means he should have been starting. |
