Fire Gus Bradley

Quote:That's my point...2 below average drafts but he hits on the QB so he gets a pass. Which, in the end, may hurt our franchise by keeping DC around. So a draft in which you get a franchise QB is considered a "below average draft"? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
And that's not even counting Robinson/Lee at WR, LInder at G and what Colvin, Telvin, Bowanko and Storm could be.
You may not realize how absolutely ridiculous you sound. Quote:That's my point...2 below average drafts but he hits on the QB so he gets a pass. Which, in the end, may hurt our franchise by keeping DC around. Really, Jeremy? Really? Show me a GM who has more starting players acquired over these last two off-seasons. I'll wait.
Quote:Has Bradley beat a team with a winning record in his 22 games here? NO, and he hasn't coached a team with a winning record either.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:Really, Jeremy? Really? Show me a GM who has more starting players acquired over these last two off-seasons. Not a good measurement to go by. Starting on the Jaguars is hardly a feat. I would bet a guy like Bowanko doesn't start for anyone else in this league.

Jacques McClendon was a fourth round pick. Suck on that one for a minute. Bowanko, a sixth rounder, beat him out for a job as a ROOKIE STARTING CENTER.
Quote:Yes. Drafting a franchise QB tends to help a GM keep his job.I think Bortles is going to be very good, possibly more, but at this point to label him a "franchise" QB is a little ridiculous.
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.
Quote:Jacques McClendon was a fourth round pick. Suck on that one for a minute. Bowanko, a sixth rounder, beat him out for a job as a ROOKIE STARTING CENTER. Yeah, but he was a failed 4th round pick that was cut multiple times and somehow landed on this roster. bowanko beating out guys like Brewster and McClendon is hardly a feat. I'm not yet ready to call Bowanko the center of the future or Anything like that. He hasn't played well, which can be said about most offensive lineman this year.

Quote:He has a loosing record. That's been established but is it really fair to judge him when Henne was starting your starting QB last year? Does this year's 0-6 feel like last year's 0-6? No, but more is expected in the second year of a rebuild. So far we haven't seen 'more' in spite of a real QB for a change. Sparano had two 7-win seasons with Henne at QB. JDR/Tucker won five games with Blaine F. Gabbert at QB (OK, one win was behind perrenial pro bowler Luke McCown ![]() "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?"
Not sure Harbaugh could make the playoffs with this team. It's looking like he might not be able to get the 49ers there this year.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:Really, Jeremy? Really? Show me a GM who has more starting players acquired over these last two off-seasons. said the same thing about Gene Smith in 2009, he had drafted more starters then anyone else in the league at that point. just sayin............

Quote:said the same thing about Gene Smith in 2009, he had drafted more starters then anyone else in the league at that point. just sayin............ Only because we traded a future 2nd for 3rd Rounder Derek Cox. And you couldn't say it in 2010. This is Caldwell's second year. And Caldwell cut the garbage. He may have cut some good, but that's going to happen.

Quote:Again, what does Gus Bradley being my 6th choice when we were looking for our head coach have anything to do with anything here? That doesn't and will not erase the crappy job he's done. I know that by throwing that red herring out there you HOPE that will be the case, but it isn't. It shows your opinion really doesn't mean anything. Quote:said the same thing about Gene Smith in 2009, he had drafted more starters then anyone else in the league at that point. just sayin............ That's actually a pretty good point. It's easy to see now too that 2010 and 2011 were even worse. But Britton busted pretty early for second rounder. Pot Roast was obviously 1 good pick. But literally all the picks sucked after that. Rashad Jennings in the seventh is kinda like Storm. Quote:Wrong. Their clock started when Bortles started. Everybody here knows what Dave and Gus inherited from Gene and Mularkey. You can only improve so much from churning the bottom of the roster and two drafts. I'm fine with it. This is about the dumbest thing I have heard in a while. So, you are telling me that Gus and Dave decided when the clock started, since they had the option to sit Bortles indefinitely if they wanted to. Well, until every fan except yourself showed up at their homes with pitchforks and rope. Must be nice to have a job where there is no accountability until you decide there should be.

Quote:It shows your opinion really doesn't mean anything. Then nobody's opinion on the board means anything because people like you have been wrong loads of times over the past 5-10 years constantly brother-in-lawing every move the organization makes.
Quote:Not sure Harbaugh could make the playoffs with this team. It's looking like he might not be able to get the 49ers there this year. Harbaugh will make the playoffs with the Niners this year, and would make the playoffs with the Jags next year, Quote:In reality it is. Everything hinges on whether they got it right with the QB selection. Everything else will get fixed, but they have to get that one right. If they miss, they'll be gone soon enough. In reality Gus Bradley's win/loss record is not 0-3. Damn y'all are crazy. |
