Bortles is a problem

Quote:Basically, and...

the 2008 lions went 0-16 so all of those players are problems right? they should all be out of the league....?

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

So what happens when Bridgewater turns out to be Ponder or EJ Manual, and they are out of the league in a couple of years, while BB brings home the goods for us?  You know, the Super Bowl.

Manning started 1-8 and his only win was against the Chargers who were also starting Ryan Leaf.

He threw 11 picks in his first 4 games.

Not saying he is Manning but you need to lighten up.

Khan won't have to go far next time, he can leave the jet at home.

I am 100% sure I can do no worse record wise than Gus has done in the 1st 6 games this season.

That's 100% sure in case you missed it the first time.

Blake is argubaly the best player on the Jaguars roster right now, to suggest he's a problem is pure lunacy.

I think you should take a sabbatical from this forum.  I think you've had a little too much of whatever it is you're on.

I'm pretty sure this thread can be closed now so we don't waste any more server space on it.

JJ Watt was on a two win team last year. I guess he was part of the problem.

Interesting. I had forgot Manning started that poorly with W/ L.

I knew he threw a lot of picks that first year. (and I have no problem with Blake throwing a lot of picks now as long as they are mostly of the down the field type)

And the game they won? 17-12 and he threw for 172 and 1 td....

And that Colts team had Marshall Faulk I believe.

Quote:I was looking through the message board and just had to reiterate just how ridiculous it is that a thread by this title even exists.

This thread title instantly qualifies as 1 of the most ridiculous, idiotic, absurd, foolish, laughable, ludicrous, non-sensical, outrageous, preposterous, unbelievable, contemptible, foolheaded and harebrained thread titles in the Jags 19 + year history.

It takes a special kind of poster to accomplish that feat.

I just looked up that game at profootball. Clots vs Chargers

Clots did win 17-12 but it has PM going 12 of 23 for 137 yds 1 td 1 int, rating of 66.8.

Yes, the clots had Faulk, he rushed 25 times for 50 yds for a 2 yd avg.

P.S. Can anybody guess who the Chargers main RB was back then?

He had 31 rushed for 131 yds for a 4.19 avg and 1 TD.

He eventually became a Jag. Hint, he wore a dark facemask.

NATRON MEANS

Natrone means was awesome. He played for the 96-97 jaguars team only, I thought. He returned to San Diego in 98-99?

Yep, Natrone Means.

Still the only guy named Natrone I have ever heard of.

Man oh man if the Jags could just find a guy like Natrone for their backfield.

They would immediately challenge for the division and probably the playoffs.

Interesting enough, Manning's first road win was also the Chargers....but didn't occur until 1999.

I also notice how none of the people who were bashing him have come back to this thread. The kid has talent and passes the eye test. I was walking out of the steeler game and their fans were telling me how impressed they were by our rookie QB. Will he be a HOF QB? Who knows but he's far from being a problem on this team.

Yeah last game was clearly Blake's fault. Damn him for missing that field goal. How dare he drive us down the field into field goal range only to get it blocked.

What a dueche.
