How Patient will Khan be?

I love the Jags...but I will hold zero faith in Gus especially if it was not his idea to start Bortles. The fact that Khan may have had to put pressure on Gus is enough to tell me Gus is not the right fit in Jacksonville!!

Quote:Truth is, he won't be fired if that happens.  Sorry that disappoints you so.  But then... it's you.

If they go 0-16 this year and Badly's not fired, thats going to disappoint many more people than just me.

Sorry that THAT disappoints YOU, But then......its you.

They haven't set "a lot of goals" for this season.

See this is the problem. People like you foolishly set your own personal goals for them this season. They aren't working your process. They never went to you and asked for what goals you would like to see them achieve by this point in the season nor did they agree to abide by your goals.

They knew better than to set goals in the middle of a process because improvement isn't always tangible until you get towards the end.

Your mistake was setting your own premature goals and timeline and expecting someone else to live up to them. Unless you are in some position of authority life doesn't work that way. You are insignificant in their process. You schedules and expectations are completely immaterial.
It's not my expectations. The only positive sign this season has been bortles. "People like you" seem to think that Gus and Dave (first time gm/coach btw) have some sort of mystical process in place that assures us a good team in year 3. There is no way this team jumps to 8 or 9 wins in year 3 from what will probably only be 4 at best this year.

The same people saying trust the process were the ones saying "theyre doing the right thing sitting bortles". Yeah, so much for that part of the process, looks reeeeeaaaaal foolish now.

We don't know differently.  Khan said shortly after the switch to Bortles happened that he did not tell them to put him in.  He said it was up to Dave and Gus as to when he was ready to play.  You can think conspiracy theory all you want but none of us can say it happened any differently than that.
